As for my dad a big shout out to Douglas and another massive thank you for everything you did and just for being you. Crystal who works in the restaurant you are absolutely amazing and a delight to see in the mornings and afternoons when we dined. If anyone is wanting to go to Barbados this is the place to stay with the hospitality of the staff, the entertainment in the evenings and some afternoons it’s a perfect family hotel. I went with my partner, 4 children one whom is non verbal autistic (everyone was so lovely to and had time for). Also my mum and dad and we was all made to feel very welcome. Also the desserts are to die for, yummy 😋 We look forward to seeing you in the future. Thank you again. Read less

I've only written a few reviews over several years but I'm compelled in this case. The vast majority of staff here were extremely unfriendly and inattentive. You don't expect this in Barbados which is hardly a budget island. This was our fifth time in Barbados and the only one that left a really poor impression. We've been to similar older 3 stars in Barbados and Antigua. Both were similar but the staff were far more pleasant in the latter two. Issues: Start: front desk - indifferent, mute. On arrival, and same seven days later when leaving. Restaurant staff: most scowl and look through you. Berating people that walk into the buffet. If you want people to approach the podium, 1. put the podium at the entrance, not in the middle of the indoor section and 2. have someone stood there and don't leave it constantly vacant. There were several times where I'd been sat for a few minutes drinking water before getting up to approach the buffet only to be asked (again) whether I'd given my room number (with tone and scowl). Suggestions: Replace management and get some proper leadership for the younger staff. you can feel the negative energy amongst them all. There's no beer or wine glasses. Replace the plastic. Wine is not meant to be served in old beaten plastic sparkling wine flutes. Coincidentally, you don't even offer sparkling wine. If you're going to leave red wine out for self serve, it's not meant to be as warm as your weather. Chill it slightly at least. Room temp. wine is fine in colder climates. I could go on but I am done. Do not go here. It's too much money and reminded me of a cheap getaway to Cuba which it's not $$. Read less

Barbados Beach Club is a great 3 star hotel. I have read other reviews and feel annoyed when people visit a three star hotel and expect a five star. If you want a 5 star hotel go to the west coast and pay substantially more per night, and that will only be for bed and breakfast. For me, Barbados Beach Club stands in a stunning location right on the ocean front with far-reaching views. My room was on the sixth floor . The room was cleaned daily and had everything I wanted the large bed was very comfortable. There was a hairdryer kettle, ironing board iron and fridge complimentary bottled water daily I really enjoyed the food, always fish, meat and chicken on the menu and a vegetarian dish with salads, vegetables, rice, potato amongst many other items There is also an à la cart restaurant called The Reef, which you need to book and offers table service The entertainment is brilliant and there is something most nights Its a real added bonus as few hotels offer this much entertainment. There are numerous sunbeds and cushions. Plenty of seating both by the pool and on the beach. Parasols are available and kayaks and boards. They have a great team here and I will definitely return. Please don’t go if you’re expecting a five star hotel, this is a three star hotel which gives you great value for money on all-inclusive basis. I got chatting to several other guests and they have already stayed here before, so it’s clear barbados beach club has a huge following and great repeat business. There is a gift shop car hire and laundry service available I certainly will be returning. Read less

Just got back from our first trip to Barbados, yes the hotel is tired, but if you can overlook this, you will be fine. The food is good and plentiful. Room was very comfortable. The beach is to die for, we had an amazing time, currently looking to book again
