Chelsea Hotel

I wanted to start off by saying I'm here every 10 days to go to the hospital for sick children with a child who needs a bone marrow transplant. The Chelsea Hotel Toronto is an amazing hotel of the staff not only cares about their customers, but they treat you like family. Everything from checking into the hotel booking dining checking out even a simple is going to a restaurant and they remember what you like to eat. The staff here is so amazing. They do everything in above to make sure that your stay is comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It's a beautiful hotel in the heart of Toronto close walking proximity to any malls restaurants hospitals bars, anywhere that you need to be. It's here right in the center. A big shout out to haul the hotel staff! Farhana so amazing helping us with the new reward system. She will do anything in our power to make sure you're happy. Omberto as another manager who will do anything in his power to make sure he stays comfortable with just one phone call away. Aj and Vincent at the front desk making sure you are always on and feel welcome . I apologize if I forget some of the staff, but this definitely is a hotel where they provide excellence and they care for all of their guests. The rooms are amazing. They're always clean. The housekeeping. Staff is very prompt with anything that you need. The restaurants the chef, the bartender the waiters and waitresses are just amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel for any sort of trip whether it's friends family, a simple business trip or just having a relaxing weekend with your husband or significant other Thank you to the Chelsea hotel for truly representing what a hotel should be for their guests and as big as a city as Toronto is, it's pretty amazing that they remember your name Thank you to the Chelsea hotel, and all the staff for a beautiful day every 10 days. I was first offered a room in an older tower and the room was disgusting. Stains in ceiling and the carpet. The door to balcony was broken and the balcony was covered in bird poop. After some discussions I was offer another room in a renovated tower. This was better but still very dated and stains on the walls in the bathroom. The curtains had stains on them as well. I only stayed for two nights otherwise I would have moved to another hotel. The breakfast is an (expensive) joke. Such bad quality. The staff was nice and did their very best given the circumstances. We stayed here for 2 nights as part of our Canadian holiday. When we checked in £87.84 was taken in case the room was damaged on departure. There was only me and my 12 year old son, we didn’t get there until the afternoon of the 29th and we went out and we spent all day out on the 30th. There was no damage to that room at all, however that money still has not been refunded. Also on the 1st April the day we were checking out. At 9 am I took my Som to the swimming pool. The cleaner was leaning in the wall outside our room waiting for us to leave, she asked me how long I was going to be. I advised we would be out on time. When we came back, she was still there and asked if we would be leaving now as she was waiting to clean the room. This was still an hour before check out. Read less
