Amazing stay. While this hotel is not as “luxurious” as the deluxe villas or hotels it’s a incredible value and a great hotel. Our room was a 2 minute walk to the skyliner (could see the entrance from our window), two pools a very short walk away-one more kid friendly and the other more adult friendly and quiet, good food options, hammocks with beaches,a very nice playground, etc etc. The property, like all Disney properties, is immaculate and exceptionally maintained. Room was nicer and larger than a typical room at a chain hotel and spotless and well maintained. One thing to note about location. It is right on the skyliner which is great. Keep in mind that at Epcot closing there will be a huge line to get on the skyliner. Expect it to take at least 45 minutes to get back to your hotel if your closing down Epcot and then joining the line. This is still better than any other mode of transport back but it’s a much quicker ride if you don’t have the line obviously. Disney does it again as always. Great hotel! Read less

The room was very small with outdated furnishings. Reminds you of an old motel in the 80s with a door that opens to the outside and the air conditioning under the window. Definitely not up to the expectations of a Disney hotel. Don’t waste your money!!

One of the main perks, getting to enter the parks early......waiting on the buses and boarding to go to other pickup locations resulted in getting there way after everyone was allowed in. Read less

We were very lucky to be in the Trinidad area which was an easy walk to the Skyliner. It was however a long walk (15 to 20 minutes) to the main buildings and food court. The room was not very big, with a queen bed, Murphy bed, double sink and an air conditioner that sounded like a train all night! Our section did have a small cafe very close to our room with some food choices. There was pool next to the cafe that had to be the ugliest pool I have ever seen! All brown pebble cement, not at all inviting .There was a small beach area with about 5 or 6 chairs, and other pools in the complex. They were too far for us to walk too. While we liked the location, where your room is would make a big difference in your experience. Read less

This was my second time at the Caribbean. This is a sprawling resort and depending on where your room is located, it can be a long walk to the main building or the gondola. Rooms are a good size and everything was clean. But so was the Holiday Inn we stayed at for one night on this trip. At $350 per night you are paying for the privilege of being on Disney property with some minor benefits of early admissions to the parks. The restaurant is basically a fast food setup, when you order at a station and pick up food from the kitchen, Nothing special. There are two gondola stations nearby, but it was a 15 minute walk and we wound up driving over and parking close by. Plus, the gondolas break down...I Guess pretty frequently. One time we had to divert over to Disney Studios and take a boat to EPCOT, so our 15 minute ride turned into 45 minutes. TV was adequate, wi-fi was good. We were there to go to EPCOT so we did not use the pools. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I don't think we got enough out of the extra cost to justify a higher rating. Read less
