Check before you book if there is going to be a conference at this property! Overall room is ok, club lounge is great but half of the pool area has been blocked off for conference attendees each day and the casual restaurant has also been closed to guests for four days in a row! Like most other Ritz properties, Marriott status makes no difference so don’t go chasing status for any perks here. Glad the guest next door checked out today so there won’t be music until 4:00 am! Pool area needs a lot of attention and more staff. Best part has been club lounge service! Read less

Rebecca is the reason our stay was so remarkable. She goes out of her way for us, getting us dinner and making us feel at ease after a tough flight in. She is always eager to help and full of information and always with a smile. The staff are warm and accommodating the menu at the spa is interesting and healthy, the main pool is exciting and equally friendly staff maintain the guests there as well. Our room was spacious and the view lovely Read less

Beautiful property and pool with a splash pad/play ground for kids. The hotel is stunning and they offer a Saks Personal Shopping Experience. The kids will love the sprawling lawns with corn hole/soccer. Lots of food options and two shops in the event you forget something.

Excellent service, gorgeous both inside and around the grounds. People working there seemed genuinely interested in hospitality, versus the fake helpfulness and borderline annoyance we noticed at the two other places we stayed. Such a treat. My family loved it.

Sleep: 4 stars - room was a great temp and generally quiet, but the doors are loud when they shut. Hotels have yet to figure out how to made the doors shut without slamming. The staff kept the room clean and attended as is usual with a Ritz Gym: 1 star - the gym is shared between the Ritz and JW and there isn’t enough room. The gym is too small without enough equipment - I’ve been in smaller hotels with more Peletons. At any time of day, people are vying for spots anywhere there is floor space. There’s not enough weights or mats either. This is a huge problem. Pool: both are great the JW pool is great for kids! Food: see the review for Knife & Spoon. Highball is fine, but the prices even for a Ritz are laughable. $50 for a Caesar salad with chicken and an iced tea. The food was average. 1/2 the price would’ve been fair. End of day, it’s a great hotel but fix the gym and don’t gouge anyone for a salad. Read less
