Everything around the Grand canyon is a little pricey for what it is, this hotel included. The bed was a little uncomfortable, but in all other aspects, it lives up to the pictures. If we had the trip to do over again, we probably would have just stayed in the park.

Upon arriving we were sent to our room which appeared that the bathroom had not been cleaned in a while, it didn't smell that clean either. There was a pink film in the sink and hair everywhere. We asked and they nicely provided a new room. The new room had faucets that were falling apart and the towels are quite tattered and thread bare. Just getting some new fluffy towels would make a huge difference. The location is good, we walked across the street to eat and to the Mexican restaurant as well. And getting to the park is quite easy, so the location is great. Overall it was fine, not the worst I have ever been to, but not the best either. Read less

Internet worked well. The staff was friendly, although they are sooooo overly concerned about COVID they can be a little distant. The pool was small, but indoors and clean. The only complaint would be the pricing in the restaurant ($45 for a rack of ribs dinner), but everything in the Grand Canyon are 2X to 3X the cost of other areas, for example, there is only one grocery store and milk is over $6 a gallon. SO TOCK UP BEFORE YOU ARRIVE. The best part is the location as it is a straight shot into the park. We would stay here again for sure. Read less

We did a two day hike in the Grand Canyon and when we came out wanted clean sheets and a hot tub! This hotel gave us a great rate and accommodated our full family. It was awesome! Thank you Grand for hosting us.

The rugs are so old and dirty, the paint in the room is chipping, Our towels came in a black trash bag and they were all tattered and torn, we were only given one trashcan in the room, our TV did not work, But the icing on the cake was When we tried to get together in the lobby, we politely asked Derek at the bar for wine glasses. He was rude & unaccommodating. We were only drinking the wine in the lobby which was about 50 feet away from the bar but he was worried he was not going to get the glasses back. I assured him he would but he was not going to change his mind. Housekeeping did not come in and refresh the room. The lobby was not clean and the carpets up and down the hallways were clearly dirty. Every time we went to speak to the manager, one was not on duty or at least that’s what we were told. Read less
