The hotel

This plush hotel has a wide variety of facilities and activities including the R Aqua Zone, an interactive waterpark with two waterslides as well as two splash and play areas. Very close to International Drive, on Sea Harbor Drive, and just 15 minutes from Universal Studios® Orlando and Walt Disney World Resort. Driving time from airport: 20 minutes.

Standard Rooms with 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults and 1 child on a rollaway bed*.

Pool/Seaworld View rooms with 1 king-size or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Balcony rooms with 1 king-size or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults. 

I-RIDE Trolley* access right in front of Hotel to many local restaurants and shopping outlets. Self parking is $30 plus tax per day and valet parking is $37 plus tax per day (payable locally, subject to change).

The hotel rooms were very disappointing and gross. I had to switch rooms upon arrival 3 times before I found a somewhat clean one. Carpet, headboards, tub, beds were very dirty. The toilet barely flushed. We had to have our AC looked it as it initially didn’t work.

I don't even know where to start with this hotel! Check-in was great and fast!! but when I got to my 1st room it was horrible. When I opened the door, you can smell the mildew in the carpet. Then I went into the bathroom, and it was disgusting. The stains in the tub were gross and it was hair on the shower walls. So, I went back downstairs to get a room change, the smell in the 2nd room was a lot better but the tub was the same. They said all the tubs look like that, I was so disappointed, I had to deal with this and spent so much money on this hotel. One of my stays they forgot to clean my room, I was gone from 11:00 in the morning until midnight. After a long day you want to come back to a clean room. It took room service 40 minutes to bring us towels. This is no longer a 4-star hotel. The charges for this hotel is ridiculous they charge you a resort fee and it's not a resort, what makes it a resort the slide in the kiddie pool? They also charge 36 dollars a day for parking, why isn't that included in the resort fee. Before I came there, I called customer service to ask about parking and they stated since I am a government employee parking will be complimentary. But when I got there, they told me no, so I am terribly confused. I am very disappointed; I am an elite member, but nothing felt elite with this hotel. Money is gone and not good memories. Read less

This is the best hotel for customer service I have ever encountered. And I have stayed at luxury hotels in New York. Every single person in every single department was amazing. It is rare that every person is nice and friendly and helpful but that is exactly what you find here. The facilities are top notch and the food is also great. We were originally given a room near the elevator and realized during the first night that we could hear it all night long. My wife went down to the front desk the following morning and we were promptly given a new room. The front desk staff was truly incredible. Anyway, I could go on and on about the customer service. The hotel is fabulous and the people are even better. Highly recommend. Read less

Dated and not super clean. Silverfish in my sink one morning, and an overwhelming smell of mold from the ancient carpet and headliner on the bed. Stayed at another Marriott last year in Orlando and was night and day different. Parking fees are ridiculous, and there is even a charge for wifi. Lack of restaurants was also surprising. Temps in the hotel, conference, and rooms were freezing and damp (probably led to the mold). As the hotel is an enormous atrium, I was woken up on several occasions by the noise from the bar in the center. Staff were all friendly, but sometimes difficult to understand. Wait-staff in restaurants were helpful, but not as attentive as would be expected at this price range. I would not have even written a review if the price was better aligned to the hotel. If this was 1/3 the cost, I would have expected this quality. However, at $300/night, this place is NOT worth it. Read less
