The hotel

Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort is an adults-only, all-suite hotel, just 10 minutes north of Cancun. On a lovely white sand beach in the resort of Playa Mujeres. Just a 10-minute drive north from Downtown Cancun in an exclusive gated community, located inside a championship 18-hole Playa Mujeres Golf Course, designed by golf legend Greg Norman. Transfer time from airport: 35 minutes.

Overall, great experience! Ernesto was wonderful! He was very friendly and helpful. We love our bracelets that he made us. Caesar and Willie were very attentive to our needs and our drinks were never empty. The silent dance was one of our favorite night activities!

The ocean and beach were free of any seaweed on most days. The resort picks up seaweed on a daily basis although this area is known for a mostly sargassum free environment - nice! The food overall was good and we enjoyed the Portofino and Bordeaux restaurants. Artemio at the Bordeaux provided excellent service. Wonderful Staff Beautiful Setting. The staff makes sure your every need is covered! Very quiet rooms so easy to sleep. Lots to do when you’ve had enough sun! We went on bike rides, snorkeling trip, swam with dolphins, and cave exploring! Never a dull moment

Facilities were great. For an all-inclusive resort where things tend to feel “cheap”, this facility was top of the line. The Service was excellent. Especially from Thomas Alvarado, he went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated and felt welcome.
