On a private, white-sand beach on exclusive Longboat Key, a barrier island just off the coast of Sarasota. Distance from Tampa International Airport: 62 miles.

223 rooms and suites from 4 to 10 floors in 7 buildings with 9 lifts. All with balcony, air-conditioning, flatscreen TV with pay-per-view films, WiFi, alarm/clock radio, safe, iron and ironing board, bathrobes, hairdryer, mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker with daily supply of freshly-ground coffee.

Guest Rooms offer beach views, and either 1 king-size or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children. 

Studio King Suites feature a separate seating area with queen-sized sofa bed, kitchenette with washer/dryer, dining area, and balcony overlooking the golf course or Intracoastal Waterway, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Studio King Suite Beach View are the same as above, with views of the Gulf of Mexico.

Spacious One Bedroom Suite Beach View have a private master bedroom with 1 king-size bed and dressing area, large living room with 1 queen-size sofa bed, fully-equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, dining area, and feature views of the Gulf of Mexico, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Two Bedroom Suite Beach View include two separate bedrooms, each with their own dressing area, living room with queen-size sleeper sofa, fully-equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, dining area, and feature views of Gulf of Mexico, sleeping maximum 6 adults.

Spacious Two Bedroom Suite Beach View are the same as above, but are larger in size.

This hotel has a resort fee of $40 plus tax per day for all rooms with the exception of Two Bedroom/Spacious Two Bedroom Suites, which is $50 plus tax per day (payable locally, subject to change).

My husband I spent three wonderful nights at this beautiful property and really loved it. We only wished we had stayed longer! There is so much to do and see in the area, on the different keys, as well as a lot of excellent restaurants to try. Our favorite day, however, was spent staying right on property and enjoying the beautiful pool and beach. The staff members are so helpful and courteous throughout the resort, especially Christian on the beach who ran around in the heat to secure us great spots and got us completely set up. He also took the time to give us some much needed suggestions about the area that really helped us navigate when we went exploring. I can not say enough great things about this resort and can't wait to go back! Read less

We came here from Seattle to experience East Coast with our kids. Headed to Boston from here. Pros: the beach is beautiful, the sand is white and soft, the water is so clear. The weather was perfect. Our room was a spacious one bedroom and really was quite large and well appointed. The food at the pool/beach and Latitudes restaurant was delicious. Cons: this place is WAY overpriced. Not only R we paying way too much for the room for what they deliver, they nickel and dime you for everything. Pickleball costs $35 per person, not including paddles and balls. So my family of 4 would be $140 to get on the court. Chairs/umbrellas at the beach is $85/day. We r paying $1700/night for a room and can’t sit on the beach without paying more?!? The restaurant at the resort while delicious is over priced. Bottom line, 5 star prices not 5 star service, they didn’t even offer to help us with our bags to our room at check in. Read less

Olivia and Sully at the pool were also out of chairs, but went out of their way to find a solution. They turned a disappointing situation into a great day for my son and I. Their actions are a great example of what makes LBKC Resort a top resort in the area. Kudos to Olivia and Sully. Read less

After 4 days there, I turned to my wife on the beach and said this is the first hotel I have no quibbles with! Everything is well thought out and the staff is amazingly well trained and helpful. Who trained these people? Room service quick, beach orders quick and the food at both exceed your expectations. So part of my vacation is ruined because I had no suggestions for improvements.
