Wake up to find our rolex's and my wifes wedding ring along with cash totaling $40,000 was all taken while we slept. Key logs show key activity at 1:49AM. Someone either accessed our locked room either through the front or through the adjoining room door. After a 2 week investigation we have been pushed aside with a response of "sorry". Sorry is what happens when your steak is under cooked or when you have a hair in your food. We could have been hurt or even worse. If you value your safety, or value your personal property. Do Not stay here. We have been coming her for over 8 years 3-4 times per year and been loyal customers. Never Again. My wife will never get her wedding ring back and is devastated. McDonalds has better customer service and security than the Encore. Protect yourself and friends because they certainly will not. Read less

***PLEASE SHARE*** I hesitated to share this as we have an ongoing police investigation but it’s been made clear the Wynn Las Vegas has no interest in customer service or the safety of their guests. Please share in hopes no one ends up in this situation or even worse suffers personal injury. I share my story to warn others that while this property wants to lull you into a false sense of security with thermal scanners and purple coats on their casino floor, once you head into the hotel you are not a concern of the Encore/Wynn. On the evening of January 2nd, 2021 my husband and I returned to our room At Encore Tower Suites and ordered room service. While waiting for food we changed and placed our jewelry and purse/wallet onto the bar area in the suite. When the room service arrived the woman had full sight of these items as she gestured as to whether we wanted the food set there. When we were done eating and ready to head to bed, my husband placed the room service cart outside the door. Via the door key log obtained by law enforcement this was the last time either of us had touched the door. Shortly before 2am while my husband and I were fast sleep, the door log recorded someone exiting our suite. I awoke the next morning and began to put my jewelry on when I realized my wedding ring and Rolex were missing, my husband came to the room to find his pinky ring and Rolex were also gone. A check of my purse/his wallet would find nearly $3000 in cash also stolen. (In total nearly $35,000 in cash and jewelry were taken) We immediately called for Wynn security as well as the LVMPD to respond to the burglary. By the time they responded I was in absolute hysterics. From the sinking feeling of my wedding ring of 15 years being stolen to the realization that our room had been invaded while we were asleep. After we shared all info with the Wynn and LVMPD responding officer they let us know the detective from LVMPD was actually at the hotel and wanted to meet us up at the room, I found this odd as we were under the impression it would not be until Monday or later that we would have contact with them… come to find out I believe they were on site as a second robbery was reported shortly after ours. As referenced earlier, my husband received info on the door lock log from the LVMPD, showing access of the door from the INSIDE at shortly before 2am.. At this point I was absolutely mortified, had someone been hiding in the room while we were there or compromised the lock? The detective shared there was also a known problem that the french doors such as in the Salon Suite didn’t always closer correctly and could be breached and that there are NO cameras in the hallways at the Encore to aid in catching any suspect. WOW. On Wednesday we finally received correspondence from the hotel, an email saying our new point of contact would be a woman named Trish in the claims department. I emailed her back letting her know we had not formally retained a lawyer but wanted to know what the Encore/Wynn was doing to make this situation right as I hadn’t heard a single update. Her response? A one line response saying that they “regret to inform you, per NRS 651.010, we will not be extending an offer”. I was astounded, we had not once asked for anything from the hotel and now instead of showing any concern they quote some statue and basically tell us to get lost? Setting aside the loss of valuables in this burglary, what about the duty to keep their guests safe? Someone had breached our room in the middle of the night and not a shred of concern? Thinking this surely isn’t the way customer service is handled I reached out to the hotel manager who we had met the morning of the event only to receive an email back from another manager saying our contact needed to go through the claims department. A phone call with Trish in claims ended the same way as the email did, she let me know any information on the burglary would have to be obtained through the police department and that “they were very sorry this happened”. I sit here in disbelieve as I write this. We had held off on sharing in good faith that a hotel we frequented regularly was actually interested in getting to the bottom of TWO burglaries occurring in the Tower Suite section which they claim to be even more secure than the main building. I can’t believe after years of patronage the hotel didn’t so much as offer some good faith to retain a customer. I embarrassingly broke down once again into tears as I shared with the claims manager that I just couldn’t believe their answer to this incident was “sorry”. I know my wedding ring will never be found which in itself is a crushing feeling, but now am I to question my safety any time I stay in a hotel? I watch security guards chase down people for dropping their masks for two seconds but there are no cameras or security in their hotel while people are in their most vulnerable state? Read less
