Our entire stay at Fairmont was phenomenal — the rooms were clean, the food was delicious, and the private tour we booked was our favorite experience of the trip. Scott was so knowledgeable and tailored our trip to our preferences — it was the cherry on top of an already amazing trip!

If you get the opportunity to spend time at the Fairmont, do it. Great service, amazing amenities and lots of free resort activities that are worth doing. There are two pools, one indoor (lap swimming suitable) and one a hot pool outside. Gorgeous views of the Mountains, great food.

Great stay. We were happy to come back to this property. Our room was nicely renovated and the Staff, particularly the Bell Staff proceeded to provide consistently outstanding service.
Image of the Tripadvisor rating A grand hotel that is overpriced in Banff but worth the stay (food offerings also great)

Privileged to stay in a Gold Floor room for six nights. The food offerings were amazing and the desk staff always friendly and helpful. House keeping a little hit and miss (not consistent) over the six nights, so let the hotel down. Room 549 needs work done around the door to prevent light getting in over night and keeping you awake as the bed… Read more

During my recent 5-night stay at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, I was blown away by the stunning views from our 6th-floor window overlooking the golf course. Waking up to that every morning was like a dream! The bed was just right—not too soft, not too firm—and made for some seriously good sleep. And let me tell you about the Nespresso coffee—absolutely divine! It was the perfect kickstart to our days of adventure. The hotel staff were amazing—super friendly and always ready to help out. Their warm welcome made us feel right at home. We took advantage of the hiking poles and cleats they provided for our snowy trek up to the gondola, and it was epic! The snowy landscapes were straight out of a postcard. Another great activity was curling up with a beer and a wine under a blanket around the open fire pits and making smores. But here's the thing: the bathroom was tiny! Especially considering the price we paid for the room, we expected a bit more space to move around. Overall though, our time at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel was unforgettable. It was a perfect mix of luxury and nature, and we're already planning our next visit! Read less
