My husband and I just concluded a 2 week National Parks road trip, and our final destination was the Westin Monache Resort Mammoth. We had a first rate experience. The team went above and beyond to anticipate our needs and were exceptionally prompt , proactive and courteous. A big shout out to: Victor who so graciously checked us in, Jason who made sure I had plenty of creamer, sugar and coffee for the in-room coffee machine and plenty of bubble bath! Michelle and Chiara who helped me untangle my computer issues and facilitated printing and faxing some urgent materials for me. The entire property exudes understated elegance and is meticulously clean. I'm a very discerning client and notice "details. The Westin Mammoth exceeded our very high expectations. We can't wait to return! Thank you team! Read less

As a marriott elite member, I received a room upgrade to a suite. Also, this property is very generous for elite member. A room of marriott platinum and titanium members can order 6 items in breakfast. Suite was extremely comfortable. 20 minutes by driving to Mono Lake, 45 minutes to Tioga entrance of Yosemite national park, and less than 20… Read more

This location is a franchise and actually has timeshares that are available. You're not gonna get the Marriott touch and that was obvious when I tried to retrieve my items after I left a weekend in September. Not only did they not get back to me after I emailed the manager, whose housekeeping manager said my items were not there, but they didn't offer to rectify the situation. Either housekeeping nabbed my brand new clothes or they didnt find them. Either way, i lost. Not what you expect from a Marriott. And dont use COVID as an excuse--you're open, CONDUCT BUSINESS. Signed, a titanium member. Read less

Most of the place is under Quarantine and well the resort isn't really 100% open, so I'm really not sure why I had to pay all those extra fees. I can say the room was beautiful! It was well appointed, the bed was extra comfy and it was within walking distance to restaurants. We were only there from around 8pm until first thing the next morning so not much time to look about really. I think during COVID 19 and considering they should likely add something to your stay like a nice breakfast or forgo the resort fee. Read less
