Simply this place is fantastic! Yes it is remote, so if you are someone who wants to do things hiring a car is necessary, but if like us you simply want to chill out it is spot on! Wonderful rooms (we had a garden view - plunge pool ace), great staff and wonderful food! Some may not like the lack of buffet a turn off, but ordering from a menu each… Read more

Wonderful rooms (we had a garden view - plunge pool ace), great staff and wonderful food! Some may not like the lack of buffet a turn off, but ordering from a menu each mealtime was super and meant fresh cooked food! And at lunchtime, if at the beach, the Panini’s were great. So many lovely people but particular shout outs to Keisha on reception, Maxine, Naisha and Ivanna in the restaurant and finally Wane and Ronaldo in the bar who all went over and above to make it a great holiday! We will be back…. Read less

You could pay more for the sea view but just opening the bedroom door in the morning to the sights and sounds of the forest and blast of that hot, humid was (for an Englishman) just lovely. Rooms are clean and spacious and private from the other guests. The resort is quite remote but that makes it very quiet and personal. No over crowded bar or restaurants. Food was top quality and liked the way we could sneek back drinks to our room and plunge in our own pool in the afternoon sun and heat. Staff was amazing and friendly (as it everyone in Antigua). Beautiful place to relax. Read less

Excellent resort, staff couldn’t do enough for you, husband had a fall whilst we was away and the staff all looked after him, they even moved our room so he didn’t need to navigate steps. Food was great menu changed everyday. Rooms all lovely a tray even provided to help you carry drinks back to the room. Will return in the future

Our stay at Escape at Non Such Bay was nothing more than excellent. The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings in a quiete part of the island. The rooms are large, spotlessly clean, well appointed with an amazingly comfortable bed. The plunge pool on the terrace is fantastic for relaxing after a hard day sightseeing or on the beach. From arriving at the hotel, the staff go out of their way to ensure your stay is perfect, always with a smile. Nothing is too much trouble and they go out of their way to ensure your stay is memorable. Keirah and Maya on the front desk were wonderful, so friendly and always smiling. Along with all the staff at the hotel nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing for an all inclusive resort and it was all made to order, fresh, and served at your table. No queuing at the dreaded all inclusive buffet here!! We were here for 3 weeks but never had the same meal repeated. The breakfast menu stays the same (what can you do with breakfast) but there is always a special on as well so there are always plenty of alternatives and if you are not sure, chef will always oblige with an omelette of your choice freshly prepared. Nothing is too much trouble. You could easily spend all your time at the resort and never leave, as we did for the first week just chilling out. There are plenty of alternatives to relax on the resort. poolside, the creek, the beach (lifts available over the hill but its nice to walk that lovely food off!) and of course your beautiful balcony. It’s very easy to book taxis to take you around to explore the island but we would suggest hiring a car as the taxis are very expensive and not cost effective if you want to see something of the island. Don't do this from the UK as its a lot cheaper to book a car from reception at a very reasonable rate and far cheaper than the UK. The all inclusive is very very good in our opinion. The quality of the wines and spirits on offer is very good, plenty for us anyway. Wane, Leston, and Ronaldo will mix you up a fantastic cocktail or other drinks of your choice and are always pleased to see you and have a chat and a joke at the bar either at the hotel or the beach bar. Leston and Wane have a great local knowledge of the island and are always happy to give you little tips on where to go and what to do and the best time to do it. Mr Gore and the restaurant staff; Naisha, Maxine, Brevecia, Tymeka, Karen, Kiandra and Alani, are always smiling and happy to see you and have a chat whilst providing top class service. The only observation we have to make this lovely hotel even better is the operation of the minibar/room drinks. Its a minor thing but one we feel that would make the experience even better. Currently, if you want to take drinks to your room or balcony this involves going to the bar with a tray and carrying everything back to the room in plastic cups. This is quite a hike for the rooms furthest away from the main building on the resort and may be an issue for people with mobility issues. It is also a bit of a pain to be walking to and from the bar with drinks in plastic cups when you are trying to relax on your balcony/pool. A suggestion that i think would be better would be to have system in place whereby the guest could choose what drinks they preferred to have in their room/fridge that could be replenished as and when. Other than that, the hotel and staff are fantastic. A perfect place to relax and unwind in the sun with first class service, food, drink. So much so, we have already booked to return next year and are really looking forward to it. Read less

I booked this as a relaxing Caribbean break having been to Barbados last year. Personally I would not come back here but let's look at the positives first; rooms with plunge pools is such a great experience and the beds were very comfortable, I did the turtle snorkeling trip which was absolutely amazing, BBQ night was very tasty, reception was helpful. Moving onto why I wouldn't come back. I've been to an a la carte all inclusive before but this food was absolutely terrible, barely any fruit or vegetables. I asked for more vegetables and no shell fish due to an allergy. I don't really feel like anything extra was done to accommodate this and would not recommend this resort for anyone with food restrictions or allergies. The options were limited always including what we like to call "the fallback burger" which was one of the four entree options every lunch and dinner. The food itself tasted cheap and processed. Breakfast really should be a buffet because it took at least 45-60 mins every morning to get a cooked breakfast, before this arrived you could attempt to crunch into the same unripe melon plate every day. When I booked acres of gardens were advertised with a close by beach and additional facilities... be mindful that this isn't really for the escape guests as a lot of the gardens and additional facilities are for residents and some additional facilities at the beach have been rented out to a private company which will charge you extra. The beach has sun beds but no umbrellas so you can't stay for too long. I knew this was a small hotel when I booked but the bar area didn't have enough seats for guests and felt like it needed a deep clean. It felt like guests were encouraged to spend the majority of time in their rooms due to a lack of space. Read less
