We found out from other patrons how to operate the elevator …key required to go up, not down.! The room is okay, its been refurbished… the marks are obvious … chipped sink, ceiling has been re-gyp-rocked at some time and the sliding door to the bathroom is a dead giveaway. - it kinda slides but you can hear the ball bearing rolling along - lubrication? Please! . This is no spring chicken. Put in a proper door for your own good business sake! We used to have really nice rooms at this hotel, but given the present room condition and the price, we will probably stay elsewhere next time. Read less

Perfect location in Whistler Village and 5 minutes walk from the three lifts in the village. The rooms do differ in size - we booked our daughters a twin room and it was considerably bigger than our king room which was quite small but absolutely adequate for us. We hired from the ski hire shop located in the hotel - very professional team and great equipment for every level of skier/snowboarder. We stayed in Vancouver before holidaying in Whister and used the Skylynx service from Vancouver to Whistler and from Whistler to Vancouver Airport - very reasonable and excellent prompt service. You will find so many fabulous restaurants in the resort and great bars. If you need a day away from the slopes the Scandinave Spa is very relaxing and peaceful - there is no talking or mobiles permitted so it gives you time to switch off in a beautiful forest setting. The mountains are wide and beautiful, there are no red runs - greens, blues and blacks so a lot of the blues would be categorised red in Europe. I feel so lucky to have experienced this beautiful place and if we do return I would stay at the Crystal Lodge again. Read less

We really enjoyed our stay at Crystal Lodge. Room was accomodating for 5. Loved having kitchenette. Location was fantastic. Great being at the centre of everything. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean and tidy and cleaned daily which was great. Would stay there again.

We stayed for a week at the Crystal Lodge while skiing Whistler Blackcomb. The hotel itself is about as close to the slopes as you can get and is extremely convenient for accessing other amenities such as rental stores and restaurants. The only slight inconvenience is that the ski valet service is actually very close to the hotel (compared to other hotels that operate at the bottom of the slopes) and ends fairly early (at 4pm when the final lift is 4pm). Our room was immaculately clean and surprisingly quiet considering it overlooked the main village thoroughfare (silencing ear buds were also provided in room but we never needed them). The bed was large and comfortable, and we had everything we needed in room (lots of USB charging sockets, hair dryer, toiletries etc.) Staff were exceptionally helpful and always available. We never used the pool, hot tub or sauna (the pool and hot tub in particular were a bit of a trek from our room) but everything looked very clean and well maintained. Although there are a couple of bars and a restaurant in the “complex”, you should note there isn’t an actual hotel restaurant, so you’ll need to get breakfast etc. somewhere else. But with so many immediate options, this was never an issue for us. Read less
