Lions and tigers and bears? This is Wild Florida, Dorothy. We prefer swamps and marshes and rivers, though you’ll definitely spot some monster alligators and other exotic wildlife on our exclusive tour across the Everglades.
Exhilarating Everglades eco-tour
Have you ever had to grab hold of your hat as the wind whisks past you on an airboat? How about holding an alligator (or your breath as you spot one in the undergrowth)? Make sure you don’t miss out on Florida’s wildest adventure, and explore a tropical bird aviary, gets hands-on with ‘Snappy’, and wander along a 500ft sightseeing dock for those postcard perfect moments.
Hawk Swamp Boardwalk
Enjoy a walk with your private Wild Florida Ranger as you trek through the Hawk Swamp Boardwalk - the mysterious cypress swamp ecosystem. You’ll embark on a scavenger hunt as well to discover and learn about the incredible animals that inhabit this beautiful region, such as zebra, watusi, buffalo and wild boar. We even throw in a traditional American buffet (including drinks), a free family photo and free gifts for the kids.
Giving back to the animals
Everyone who visits Wild Florida has the opportunity to help save the endangered Florida panther. After each airboat ride, our guests can participate in a hands-on gator show where they learn more about the American alligator. During the show, guests can even hold and take a photo with one our friendly live gators. Since the American alligator no longer needs human intervention to survive, Wild Florida has committed to donate a percentage of our alligator picture proceeds to the Friends of the Florida Panther Refuge (FFPR).
Treat yourself to a private airboat ride and really take a walk on the Wild Florida side with our South American exhibit. You’ll also come toe-to-toe with our two-toed sloths! Don’t forget to take a #slothie, but watch out for the tropical birds and iguanas - they like to photobomb. Though, we’ll make sure they play nice for your photo package. Just sayin’. (Children must be over 8 years old for the sloth encounter).
