537 rooms, all with air conditioning, whirlpool bathtub, memory foam mattress, 55” flat-screen TV, electronic safe, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee-making facilities, bathroom amenities, hairdryer, reading area, desk, WiFi, full-length mirror, fan, and blackout curtains. All rooms are non-smoking.

Junior Suite Garden View rooms overlook the tropical surroundings, with a combined living area with sofa bed, furnished balcony, and either 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds sleeping maximum 3 adults and 1 child.

We were very excited for our stay, but that ended as soon as the check in process started. The check in process was very timely, especially since there was no initial wait. We were very excited for our stay, but that ended as soon as the check in process started. The check in process was very timely, especially since there was no initial wait. It took about 20 minutes, which is the last thing you want when you just want to relax. My husband son and I stayed in one room, and my parents in another. Both the same room level and building. My parents received a welcome fruit/dessert tray with champagne, meanwhile we received nothing. My parents had robes/slippers in their room, we didn’t. When we got to our room, our shower didn’t work. They had to replace the whole faucet, which took about 45 mins. We just wanted to shower after our plane ride. Then, later that night, our toilet kept running and wouldn’t flush. Three attempts to contact someone and four hours later, they finally fixed it. Food was bland. Although the sit down dinners were much better. The beaches and pool were nice. Bars had decently quick service, considering many people waiting for drinks. This is our second time to Jamaica, first time to the Grand Palladium, and we would not recommend this place. Our first trip to a different resort was much better, considering the poor service/room conditions. I did reach out via the email survery on our second full day. No response. Our phone in room only worked maybe half the time, so couldn’t contact through there. We also reached out to our concierge in the lobby, but he just wanted to get us to the lunch/breakfast to sell us a membership. Read less

We just came back few hours ego. I couldn’t wait to write a review. In general the hotel is nice, big and clean. The food was very good compared to other all inclusive hotels. I usually don’t expect a 5 star restaurant food quality but I have to say the food was very good in Buffett and the restaurants. One of the down parts for us was a bit of a walk to the beach and the restaurants as our room was a little on the far side. Building #16. So if you don’t want to walk 7-10 min to the beach ask for a closer room. We booked a suite. It was great. Two completely separate rooms. A living room with a pull out couch where our 12 year old slept. The couch was big enough for 2 adults. The room also had an entrance to the balcony. The second room was a bedroom with a king size bed and entrance to the second balcony. The down part of our vacation was the staff. We travel a lot at this was our first visit to Jamaica. 90% of the staff are extremely unfriendly. Customer service skills literally DO NOT exist for them. They don’t smile at all. They don’t try to assist. Waiting for a cup of coffee or a drink took 30 minutes. Numerous times we got tired waiting for a drink at the table so we would just get up and go to the bar and get it ourselves. At times same issue happened at the beach. We ordered drinks the girl would never come back with them. If you are a decaf coffee drinker prepare that they will not have decaf coffee every day. Both at the buffet and restaurants they told me 5 days out of 8 that they don’t have decaf coffee. I think the staff needs to have a very serious and detailed training for customer service. And they need to be watched by the management the way they approach and serve the guests. It’s a bit hard to explain the blank careless faces of the staff. I’m in a customer service business myself and know exactly how it should work. The hotel would attack more people if they teach the staff customer service skills!!! I said 90% of staff not friendly but there was that 10% of staff that were super friendly and super nice. Maybe it’s just their character but in this line of business all staff should make the guests feel welcomed. If anything would hold me back from coming back if would be only the staff. Read less
