My only gripe is with the showers....we had an oceanfront room in building 9 and the whole bathroom would flood every time tou take a shower so had to soak up with extra towels....not a deal breaker but annoying. Everybody we encountered was friendly and personable. I would like to thank Janice at the Emerald Lagoon Bar. We survived Janice’s ladder and spent most of our time poolside. The best resort bartender we’ve ever met! Thanks TJ for looking after us until Janice started her shift. Lifeguard Whitney has the best attitude and such a great sense of humour. It was a pleasure to spend time with her whenever she was looking after the pool. Terry-Ann serving the main pool and beach has so much personality and energy it’s contagious. Thanks Merric for the awesome breakfast at the Omelette Station. I would like to let the staff in housekeeping (Sylvia) know how much we appreciated our clean rooms each day. The Jerk hut was amazing and the Silver Bird Steel Orchestra put on a great show. The only con: This resort is approximately an hour from the airport. We used share transportation to get there and it took almost 3 hours. We took private transportation back to the airport and will be doing that the next time we visit. Read less
