Like some have mentioned, this place is in need of a refresh. Room cleanliness was not great, rust on the bathroom door & a weird stain on the bathroom floor were a bit off putting. On our way to Key West, we booked the room thru the app while traveling. When we arrived, we were told there were no king bed rooms left, even though that's what I… Read more

On our way to Key West, we booked the room thru the app while traveling. When we arrived, we were told there were no king bed rooms left, even though that's what I booked. No offer of apology or a discount. Parking behind the hotel we were greeted by a guy in a golf cart, who looked at our NY plate & started making wise cracks about New Yorkers. He also said there were no spots left in the garage under the hotel. Walking under the hotel to get to the elevator, we discovered that there were indeed parking spots. Weird. Good parts, if you're a fan of 60's decor the lobby will make you feel like you're in a James Bond movie. Tiki bar across the marina was nice, and yes you'll get to see The African Queen at this marina. Breakfast was not free, but the Starbucks coffee and made to order omelette were worth the charge. Hotel is looking run down. We have stayed here before and liked it but rooms are looking tired. Only 1 pool and lots of kids that were loud and throwing a ball around. No breakfast unless you paid extra. We were 8n a handicap room for some reason. Toilet was to close to shower and bar was not accessible from shower if needed.

The property and staff are good. There’s a marina at the rear of the property which is pretty. The rooms are in need of an overhaul and update. I’m surprised that the owner is able to keep the Marriott franchise. My room had a tub with old 4” square tile with discolored grout in spots. The bottom of the bath door was peeling. I’m surprised that the owner is able to keep the Marriott franchise. My room had a tub with old 4” square tile with discolored grout in spots. The bottom of the bath door was peeling. There’s no proper closet - just a curtain for the closet door. The AC was loud but worked well. I won’t stay again. One of the lowest quality Marriotts I’ve been in, as far as room quality. Read less

What a lovely hotel! As soon as you arrive, you get the tropical feel. Very light and airy. Brian checked us in and explained that the wristbands we were given and needed to wear identifying us as Hotel guests, are also our room key!! Very cool- and yes you can get them wet. As a Titanium Elite Member, we were upgraded to a 1 bedroom, 2 bath Suite… Read more

Brian checked us in and explained that the wristbands we were given and needed to wear identifying us as Hotel guests, are also our room key!! Very cool- and yes you can get them wet. As a Titanium Elite Member, we were upgraded to a 1 bedroom, 2 bath Suite with 2 terraces overlooking the Marina. We loved it!! Pool was heated and clean. There is a gate which leads to a ‘pseudo’ beach area with sand and chairs and a Tiki Hut. Delightful! Breakfast was delicious ok- a little on the expensive side. This Hotel is in a great location- near restaurants and shopping. We stayed here years ago & remembered it fondly. We will be back Read less

This hotel was probably not an original Marriott Courtyard since the decor and physical appearance is not typical of other Courtyard hotels. This hotel was probably not an original Marriott Courtyard since the decor and physical appearance is not typical of other Courtyard hotels. The property is in need of some significant renovation and is not worth the $300 per night price tag. Our bathroom was not a typical Courtyard design. The bottom of the door was rotting away and rust was visible on the door hinges. The shower area had a hole in the ceiling that dripped cold water from somewhere above the ceiling, and it took about 10 minutes to get hot water from the shower. The hot tub outside did not having working jets. In general, this hotel did not reflect the Marriott standards that loyal Marriott patrons have become accustomed to. Read less
