The hotel

Every bit as palatial as the name suggests, Emirates Palace is fit for royalty. Its private beach, marina and bay give an air of intimate seclusion, while the location, on the Corniche in the heart of Abu Dhabi, says otherwise. Under 114 ornate domes, each 18 metres high, this regal retreat hosts elegant guest rooms, each with sensational views and 24-hour butler service. A truly indulgent spa (we’re talking gold body and beauty treatments), and 12 restaurants, cafés, lounges and bars serving cuisines from world-renowned chefs. Even its gardens are majestic, with 85 hectares promising tranquil strolls, yoga and two temperature controlled swimming pools: one for relaxation and the other for fun. The crown of Emirates Palace is its dining, from Arabic cuisine at Lebanese Terrace, to the award-winning Mezzaluna Italian restaurant. With many of Abu Dhabi's main attractions within a short distance, including superb shopping destinations and impressive cultural and heritage sites, Emirates Palace provides guests with the perfect place to explore the beauty and charm of the UAE's capital.

First and foremost its fair to say that there is an abundance of high end 5 star hotels to chose from in Abu Dhabi however this one kept standing out from the crowds when I was searching for a place to relax when on vacation in AD. All I can say is...WOW! I definitely picked the best of the best. The Mandarin Oriental certainly know how to run a fully 5 star experience. The cleanliness, the facilities, the location with its own private beach and the rooms. The Food is out of this world with a restaurant for every day of the week. Having eaten at the Indian, Italian, Lebanese, and Poolside restaurants I can say the the food and service was exceptional. The staff at this hotel really do care about their guests. There is nothing they miss, they are there to literally attend to every need. The service is professional yet friendly, attentive but not pushy...it's always hard to get the right balance but the team here certainly know all about hospitality. The East Wing Pool was were I spent most my time relaxing and resting and particular mention must got to two individuals who really shone and were sure ambassadors for the hotel (although every team member was amazing). Lyka and Koffii were two absolute superstars and kept me fed and watered every minute of the day and I cannot thank them enough for their brilliant customer service levels. If, like me, you cannot decide where to stay in AD, you will thank me when you chose Emirates Palace. Its a relaxing haven but the sea surrounded by palms and bird song. Read less

It was an excellent vacation with kids! We stayed at three room palace suite. The service and rooms are fantastic! Kids loved the beach side and the pool with slides! And all the restaurants were very delicious. Thanks for everything. We will certainly come back!

The service at breakfast and at the pool was excellent. Koffi's service, attentiveness and friendliness at the pool were particularly noteworthy.

The Club is an amazing oasis in much larger hotel. Dedicated staff and food/drink options, close to a gym, pool and private beach club. All with the usual caring and attentive MO service. Cant wait to go back. The service and quiet setting make it super relaxing.
