Address Beach Resort

Where do I start? From arrival to checking out, everything was perfect. From when we pulled up outside in our taxi from the airport, the welcome we received was second to none. Immediately our doors were opened and we were greeted with smiles and our bags were taken inside. As we flew in from Ireland on an overnight flight and arrived to the hotel around 9.30am, understandably our room was not ready but the lovely lady on reception said she would send us a message when it was. Our bags were taken into storage and we walked around the hotel. The lobby is absolutely beautiful with a view straight through to Bluewater Island and downtown Dubai. It was breathtaking. There was always a beautiful scent around the hotel and the lifts played traditional music which only added to the experience of visiting the middle east! At around 11.30am, we got a call to say that our room was ready which we were delighted about as the tiredness was setting in. When we entered our room we were blown away, the bathroom was amazing and the bed was huge, everything was spotless. Later on, after taking a short rest, we went up to the Infinity Pool, again, it was amazing and looked straight out over The Palm, JBR area and we could see right down to downtown Dubai. The service was impeccable and the cocktails were beautiful. I will say trying to get from our room on the eighth floor up to the 77th floor took a little bit of navigating as you have to use different sets of lifts but once we got the hang of it, it was fine! :) The gym facilities in this hotel are absolutely fantastic, water and towels are provided and if you wish to book a personal PT session, you can do this also. The treadmills face directly out to an utterly amazing view of The Palm and Dubai, we spent some time here on one morning as it was raining and it was a great way to pass the time. We did not avail of the spa facilities on this trip as we had a busy itinerary and lots of trips and sightseeing to do, but again, it was very welcoming and the staff always smiled and said hello as we passed through to get the lift to the infinity pool. The family pools on the ground level were all spotless and loungers had their own towels on them ready with side tables and parasols, staff were constantly around to wait on guests and provide a poolside service, these pools led down to a private beach also. We had breakfast in the hotel on all four mornings of our stay and the choice was varied and non repetitive and things were moved around each day. Table service was available for tea and coffee and you could order your egg dishes fresh and to your own liking. There was a great choice for every nationality. Overall, our stay at Address Beach Resort was beyond expectation. We visited as I had reached a milestone birthday, and for this reason I will never forget my birthday. We stayed at Address Beach Resort for four nights before moving onto Atlantis The Palm for a further two nights. The Address Beach Resort is more than worthy of it's five star rating. Staff were always pleasant and helpful, cleanliness was paramount to the staff, you could see this, our room was always spotless and the room service staff were always polite and eager to help. We loved the little touches in our room such as the turndown service, slippers left at the bedside at night and chocolates on the night stand. Fresh water was replaced daily also, the mini fridge was stocked with lots of lovely treats and drinks also. An amazing hotel where luxury is an understatement, I feel that no other hotel will live up to it. A fantastic trip made more memorable by a wonderful hotel. High praise to you all.
