Overcrowded, too loud and rude 😳 We arrived at the end of April for my mother’s birthday, hopeful to enjoy the seaside in the frontline and get accesible service for an elderly person with needs….unfortunately, faced uncontrolled crowds, loud noises after 11pm and before 7:30am, packed beach and zero understanding from staff. We had a family trip to Hampton by Hilton. Definitely can say this trip was one of the best in our lives. 1. Hotel Quite new furniture, nice design and fantastic views from higher floors. Managers were helpful and in all cases tried to do their best to make our stay comfortable. 2. Restaurant We needed special gluten-free meals and the hotel tried to do their best. Thought it took us some efforts, but after a talk with us about our concerns about food, managers and supervising chef paid a lot of attention to our diet. Every time waiter took an order from us to prepare gluten-free meals and chef did it specially to keep our meals safe from any gluten traces. We would like to thank our waiter mr. Nitz Natranjan and our chef mr. Umair Ali for making all of these efforts to make our stay unique and being very professional. We have never had such a wonderful experience. 3. Housekeeping We were suprised, how housekeeping was arranged. Every day they did full cleaning of the room, changing bed sheets. Never had any similar experience. 4. Sea & beach The hotel has fantastic beach and sea was great too. 5. Car rent and tour service In the hotel there is a car rental and tour service. We would like to mention that its personel are very pleasant and friendly, helped us a lot and arranged an impressive tour to Dubai. We were really looking forward to our holiday, a treat for our 25th wedding anniversary - 10 nights All Inclusive. We flew with Emirates (a disappointing experience) and landed very late, after a delay in the early hours of Sunday morning, so our first 'night' was almost sunrise.... not really the fault of the hotel, but I hoped we might be offered some refreshments or snacks on arrival, but sadly not. First impressions of the hotel were good, very clean, and the lifts only worked with the room key card, so there was no chance of any kids using it as a ride. In the rooms are tea and coffee, plus bottles of water. Towels changed daily if you wish, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, and toiletries in the shower. The food choices were OK, they tried to offer something different each night. Not everything was covered, and at peak times, it could be testing when some people didn't understand a queue system and just barged in front of you to get what they wanted. Drinks are offered from a bar at the far end of the restaurant, but after a day or so we realised that if we sat in the 'adults only seating area' then waitresses would offer to bring drinks. All the staff were amazingly friendly, tried their best to understand your request, and kept everything very clean. We could not fault them. The main restaurant was the only restaurant we could eat in as part of the package. There are 2 more restaurants located on the 1st floor, but these are payable. You are handed a discount card on arrival, but after tax and service charges, it's not much of a saving, and the drinks are expensive (£10-12 a pint). Bars open from 9am and you can get as many soft drinks as you desire from 9am until midnight. Alcohol is served from noon until midnight, but beware, they will only allow 1 drink per person, so even if you are a couple and want 2 beers or 2 cocktails, they will only serve you 1 drink at a time. An absolutely ridiculous rule, in my opinion. At the beach, there's a beach bar open from 10am but the same rules apply, so if you are sunbathing a walk away from the drinks cart, you must all go for your own drink. Ridiculous! There is also a snack bar at the beach beside the drinks cart, open from 10am serving burgers, pizza, and chips, but these are all chargeable, no discounts! So basically, it felt like full board accommodation with drinks package. During our stay, we had the rain, which caused massive flooding in Dubai. Thankfully, we were fine, and it didn't really impact our stay, but because of this, we decided not to venture outside the resort because we'd seen many roads and malls affected by flooding on TV and social media. The entertainment was a bit boring to be honest, every night was either a saxophone player or a singer. There was a fire eating performance during our stay, otherwise it was the entertainment team laptop playing songs and dancing salsa..... We had meant to visit the area during 2020, at another hotel but sadly it was cancelled, so we had been looking forward to this for a long time. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations and doubt we'd visit the area again. Nothing to see in the immediate area, over an hours drive to Dubai and no other bars or places to visit on the island (as yet). There is lots of building works too, mainly done at night so perhaps there will be more to see in years to come? Read less
