Two story hotel with lots of rooms but no elevator so you’ll have to make several trips to the car if you have a lot of luggage or children. Dumpy and outdated furniture (scratched and peeling badly) decor. Beds are comfortable but pillows are flat. The outdoor area by the pool and the restaurant/bar area are kept up, the grounds were not.

The only good thing about this resort is the location on Lake Powell. The rest is not good. I don't know if it was too early in the season and they just opened......but.......we had no coffee in our room, nor Kleenex or condiments for coffee, nor a luggage rack, nor drink cups. Had to go to front desk for wash cloths. I would not stay here… Read more

Beautiful location and the facilities are nice. The service however was subpar. Wanted to go to the pool and went by the front desk to pick up a towel. They didn't have any but they said they would have one delivered to me at the pool...waited over an hour, no towel. Went back to the front desk they said that they hadn't heard back from… Read more

They didn't have any but they said they would have one delivered to me at the pool...waited over an hour, no towel. Went back to the front desk they said that they hadn't heard back from housekeeping. Which brings me to the second issue. Our room was never cleaned while we were at the resort. We didn't have any coffee pods in our room, so I went back to the front desk. They said they didn't have any and that they were on back order! I will say our waiter in the Driftwood Lounge was exceptional and is vastly out of place with the rest of the employees at this resort. Read less

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I booked a deluxe lake front room 6 months ago and talked to Michael at the front desk when I booked bc of all the bad reviews I had read. He assured me that the room I booked (deluxe lake front) was the rooms that were renovated and not the subject of all the bad reviews. I also called the hotel 3… Read more

He assured me that the room I booked (deluxe lake front) was the rooms that were renovated and not the subject of all the bad reviews. I also called the hotel 3 weeks ago to double check that I had a deluxe lake front room and was confirmed. Fast forward to today, we went to check in at 4:00 pm and Michael stated that they overbooked and I no longer had that room and none were available. WHAT??!! When asked how this could happen he had no answer. My room is very old definitely a 1 star motel type of room. This place does not deserve any guests when they outwardly lie. Read less

The location is exceptional. For the rest, they will make sure you feel unwelcome from the check-in until check-out. No toilet paper and no phone working in the room (to make sure you don't bother them). The room had half a toilet paper for 2 nights for a party of 3. No courtesy water in the room. No toilet paper and no phone working in the room (to make sure you don't bother them). The room had half a toilet paper for 2 nights for a party of 3. No courtesy water in the room. When I walked to the reception to ask for more toilet paper, they gave me a roll, saying that it was the last one in the property. It felt like they were doing me a favor and they didn't even offer to bring it in the room: the lady picked it up from under the desk and placed it in my hand in front of other dumbfounded guests around me. Location is really spectacular but it's not worth the money you pay for the stay. Read less
