We have stayed three times now and wouldn’t even look elsewhere for our frequent trips to Santa Monica. This hotel is spotlessly clean everywhere, the staff is without exception friendly and helpful, and the facilities are exactly what one needs and enjoys. The location is fantastic, right across from the beach and the pier, the walkability around the lively areas of Santa Monica is perfect and since Adriano is a local, suggestions and directions are spot-on. We’ve only had the opportunity to eat breakfast at The Shore, but it’s a big part of why we enjoy our stays. Served poolside or inside if you like, the choices are many, the quality is high, and the service is fantastic. Don’t overlook freshly squeezed juices and the French Toast. *The French Toast – normally not an order I would place but it had been mentioned in so many reviews that I was compelled to try it. Now, I think about it when I am back home. Raul at the poolside bar is always smiling and ready to provide whatever you may like; the team surrounding him is exemplary! In closing, if you are looking for an upscale but casual hotel with excellent service, beautiful views, and close to all of the fun in Santa Monica, look no further than The Shore! Read less

Super friendly staff, especially the bellmen. Housekeeping was great and efficient. The rooms were comfortable and the balcony views of the ocean were awesome!

Great location, right near the Santa Monica pier and the downtown outdoor mall. Nice pool overlooking the ocean and great for sunset views.
