There's a friendly boutique atmosphere at the Omni, thanks in part to its Florentine Renaissance architecture. Built as a bank in 1926, the hotel is quite grand, with Italian marble and Austrian crystal chandeliers in the lobby. A great way to get your bearings in the city is to join the free Saturday morning walking tour — find out about its history, architecture, legends and more. Fortunately, you don’t need a guide to find your way to Bob’s Steak & Chop House, which serves some of the best steaks in town. Bob’s Bar is also popular; check out the monthly cocktail special, made using local ingredients.

Excellent service, friendly staff, clean rooms with lots of sunlight. All questions promptly answered. After complain about minor hum from hvac, Grace, reception manager, moved me to a beautiful suite, no additional cost. Highly recommended.

I rarely write reviews but we received the most amazing services at the Omni San Francisco that I have ever received from a hotel. I was not looking forward to being on the west coast but once I arrived the employees at the Omni were over the top welcoming, helpful, informative, nice, interactive, kind and over the top friendly. The staff that I interacted with were Firaaz, Eddy, Mustafa, Ramil and Darryl. Yes I even wrote all their names down because each and every one of them went above and beyond! The hotel itself was beautiful and clean. The beds were comfortable. When I asked for something special I had it within 10 min (extra towels). The whole experience was a super high 10! With family now in San Francisco and with more trips planned for the future, The Omni will be the ONLY place that I will stay when I return. Great job everyone! Read less

There were a few issues in the room but overall a good weekend stay. Highlights: decent rate, comfortable bed, and private bathroom. Amazing staff, always willing to assist! Darryl the doorman, Rocco Jones behind the desk and Rinni were extremely helpful. Very clean and friendly. Rooms were spacious and clean. Hotel staff truly the best ! Very accommodating for everything

I had a rough trip getting to SF in my business travel, but because Omni staff was so helpful, kind and friendly, my day was turned around and ended on a good note. Not only was the staff great but my room was sparkling clean and well maintained. Omni will always be my preferred stay when I'm in San Francisco. Thank you, Omni!
