The hotel

What a unique place! The lifts ascend diagonally up the pyramid wall and the beam of light that shines from the top can be seen from 10 miles up in space. Vegas gets hotter than Egypt in the summer, so you’ll appreciate the 5-acre pool area with 4 pools, as well as a new adult VIP pool* section. Check out the hotel's dining options too — there's Diablos Cantina, Tender Steakhouse, Backstage Deli, Pyramid Café, Public House, and The Buffet at Luxor. In the sumptuous Nurture Spa, you can enjoy treatments like botanical body buffs, Swedish massages and refresher facials. Blue Man Group is comedy, theatre, rock concert and dance party all rolled into one. You'll be closer to the action than ever before at the specially designed Blue Man Theatre at Luxor Hotel and Casino. It's an outrageous multi-sensory experience you'll never forget.

SO MANY ISSUES on my recent trip. I paid for a 5 night stay and my initial room was inward facing on the 2nd floor and reeked of smoke, directly above a few loud restaurants. I went to the front desk and had to pay for an upgrade to get out of the room and was placed in a better one, or so I thought. The first day was fine, but after that there was insanely loud construction noise every day from 715am til 6-7pm. I called and asked the front desk about it several times and all I was told was "we can move you to another, lower level if you like." So why did I pay an upgrade fee? I didn't want to move to a third room that was a lower tier and far away from the room my trip buddy was in. so I had to bear through it. Not to mention, half the pool was closed and staff were rude when I called the front desk. NEVER BOOKING LUXOR AGAIN Read less

I enjoyed the look and vibe of the Luxor. I didn’t enjoy the fact that the room I booked months in advance wasn’t available when I checked at 6pm. The elevators only worked 50% of the time and I almost got stuck in one. The mobile check in was a joke. Waited over a hour after going through the steps and then just sat in line to check in regularly.… Read more

I was bombarded by time share people. They greet you at the door as if they are hotel staff to help you checked in. It was off putting. The line is super long to check in. They don't have nearly enough people working the front desk. I suppose this is a tactic to get you to download their app. Food options were average. I ate at Tender, the lobster… Read more

I would not recommend. The deli was ok. Blitz was over priced for what you got. Diablo's (Mexican) not bad, a little expensive for what you get. $27 for 2 shrimp enchiladas, rice and beans. The pillows are horrible. Read less

I have been traveling to Las Vegas for many years. The bathroom was disgusting. We were "upgraded" to a tower room. The shower included body wash and shampoo but no conditioner. The towels had seen better years. The bathtub was stained and filthy, not sure who would be brave enough to touch their naked skin to it. Really outdated and not done well… Read more

The towels had seen better years. The bathtub was stained and filthy, not sure who would be brave enough to touch their naked skin to it. Really outdated and not done well or kept up well. Stains were on the tiles of the shower and the walls of the bathroom. Yuck. You get what you pay for or less. Read less
