The hotel

There’s a reason Austin is named ‘The Live Music Capital of the World’, and staying here you’ll find out why. Just a stones throw from the blues clubs, country bars and food trucks of the Sixth Street Entertainment District, and the legendary live music nightclub Antone’s is directly across the street. Nice hotel but room was very dark, fluorescent lighting in the bathroom was terrible and toilet ran unless you jiggled the handle. Bathroom was updated with nice shower but that was the highlight of the room. The staff was courteous and helpful.

Fantastic hotel , great location , staff and service is excellent. Love the bar downstairs which also has breakfast and lunch , and the kids enjoyed the rooftop pool ! We walked in downtown , easy access everywhere. Would stay here again ! Parking is expensive and unfortunately due to the area as well , so plan accordingly

Ms. Sila at the front desk was exceptional at greeting us and making us feel at home. One of my favorite Westin stays! The hotel's location and amenities were great. We felt very comfortable and would definitely stay at the Westin Austin again.

Stayed here to celebrate my anniversary weekend. Upon arrival the valet staff was friendly and check in was easy. We stayed on the fourth floor and had no issues with the elevators or entering the room. The room was clean and cool. Another great hotel in the Marriott / Westin chain. Downtown is the middle if everything. Park and walk to mist restaurants and cocktail lounges or entertainment venues. The hotel goes out of their way to be sure guests and comfortable and enjoying their stay. Great staff of dedicated people that care.
