In Washington's West End area, a 20-minute walk from The White House and 25-minutes from the Lincoln Memorial. Transfer time from Washington Dulles International Airport: 35 minutes.

Traditional Rooms are 350-400sq ft with 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Deluxe Rooms are 400-450sq ft and have 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Premium Studio Suites are 520sq ft and feature courtyard views, and a living area with sofa bed, as well as either 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 6 adults.

One Bedroom Suites are 560sq ft and have a separate living room with sofa bed, city views, and a master bedroom with either 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 5 adults.

The Caucus Room Brasserie-Steakhouse (open for breakfast and lunch). Boveda (Latin speakeasy with custom cocktails, open for dinner).

Westin are known for their comfort, and this one exceeded my high expectations. Service, comfort - all were exceptional. Breakfast provided for upper tier Bonvoy members was very good. Location is in a great part of town for safety and access to excellent restaurants within walking distance.

Everyone, from the maintenance staff to the front desk, made a point to say hello and smile as I passed. The restaurant, which recently reopened, has decent food. I would like to see a room service option return in the future. The restaurant staff were top notch. My stay was for 6 nights and every morning when I walked in, the staff had coffee ready for me so I could keep moving. One specific restaurant staff member, Tigist, greeted me every morning by name and had my coffee in hand. She treated me like a friend and was the main reason I went to the hotel restaurant for coffee versus the nearby coffee shop. While the hotel is nice, the staff made this a perfect review score. The restaurant in the hotel was not worth it, either the breakfast (nothing special for the price) or the dinner (shrimps and soup both were flavorless and tasteless). If you are wondering if you should book here, the answer is yes. Dirie was great throughout our stay, giving a great tip about parking and just generally nice to be greeted by. I was supposed to be able to have a roll away or double bed room according to a previous front desk agent I spoke with. When I got there, they said that wasn't the case. I explained the situtation and Dirie upgraded us to a king room with a pull out bed and it was amazing! One of the biggest rooms I've stayed in, in a city. Platinum member benefit is $20 per person for breakfast up to two people and was really nice! Staying here made our first trip to DC an amazing one! We will definitely be back!! Thank you! Read less
