A historic property that’s been treated to an $8 million makeover, this has all the sharp styling you’d expect from a hotel right at the heart of this modern metropolis, just a block from Union Station and a stroll from the top sights and shopping. On Capitol Hill in the heart of D.C., this hotel is moments from the U.S. Capitol and National Guard Memorial Museum, and within walking distance of Union Station, National Mall, Washington Monument, Supreme Court, United States Botanic Garden, Library of Congress, and museums including the Smithsonians. The hotel was lovely, clean and well cared for. There was coffee always available. The people on the staff were so helpful and interested in my plans. They helped me with directions and timing, especially Amare and Jerry. The Dubliner restaurant and pub were welcoming and fun with music every night.

We hosted a significant number of family and friends at the Phoenix Park as part of our wedding block and got rave reviews! Janice was also very helpful and provided updates as the block started to fill up.

Our luncheon was on the second floor of this beautiful hotel, the general manager, David Hill, greeted us and welcomed the group of us warmly. Service and food was outstanding. Hotel room was adequate size for family of 4. No frills, but had 2 queen size beds. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only used the room to really sleep. The restaurant downstairs was god for breakfast and dinner. The hotel was an easy walk to the us capitol building, union station and even the capital one arena.
