Ok, first let’s get some of the negatives out of the way and most of these are no fault of the hotel itself, 1) the hotel guests are 90% Russian, 9% German and 1% English. There are some cultural differences in how they behave but it never bothered us. 2) There are a lot of kids running around, screaming and crying all the time. This is advertised as a family hotel so if this would bother you then look elsewhere. 3) There are a lot of very heavy chainsmokers so be careful where you sit on the beach or at the pool or you could spend all day with the stench of cigarettes filling your lungs. Also people dont bother with ash trays so the beach area is littered with tab ends all over. Right then, the hotel is lovely and modern and clean throughout. We upgraded our room to a family room for a cost of around £60 for the full week which was a bargain. On arrival our room was ready for us along with some towel art on the bed and an anniversary cake which was a lovely touch. The rooms all have sea views but some overlook the pool and beach area and others overlook a road leading to the sea. Food - this is a big hotel with a lot of guests and I think the catering staff do an amazing job of keeping everyone fed. We vary rarely saw empty trays of food on the buffet and all items were well cooked and very tasty. The fresh made pizzas were lovely and I also discovered a taste for pickled turnips which were amazing. It is very busy in the restaurant and can be a bit of a free for all but the food is great. Drinks - this was a budget holiday for us and there is some truth that you get what you pay for. The drinks are ok but there isn’t much choice for the all inclusive guests so they do become repetitive very quickly. The bar staff were great though and always friendly and chatty. There is a 24 hour coffee shop called the view which also serves drinks for all inclusive guests. It’s not the nicest place to sat and have a drink but the bar outside on an evening is no where near big enough to seat the amount of guests. Add to that the smokers that are everywhere then the view is really your only option unless you’re willing to pay extra. Karma Kafe - this restaurant has a happy hour every evening from 5 - 7 where drinks range from 30 to 40 dirhams each. The cocktails up there are amazing and each comes with a bit of theatre involving smoke guns, bubble machines etc. Food in karma kafe is all of the highest standard and the sushi is top notch. Hotel guests also get 20% off so on average we had about 8 drinks each and loads of food and the bill came to £150 which I think is very good value. It’s nice to sit in Karma Kafe and watch the sunset in the peace and quiet to escape the madness off downstairs. You will get hassled on the beach a fair bit about booking trips or spa sessions but a firm no soon gets rid. The sea when we were there was full of jelly fish spawn that you couldn’t see but after a few minutes in the water you develop a rash and severe itching. Kids were going in the sea and coming out screaming in pain. Not the hotels fault but they could have put some signs up to warn guests. After a couple of days things did become bareable in the sea but just be warned. Overall we enjoyed our time at the hotel and if you can cope with the negatives listed above then you will be fine. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Read less

Except for the noise in the dining hall, we enjoyed our stay and we're satisfied with the service. Some times we found the food not salty enough and would have preferred to use little spoons for desserts but overall we could always choose a meal that suited us. Nice place for relaxation with a beautiful room view and nice room set up. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Lot of variety of food to chose. Good place for the family with kids. Has fun entertaining for the kids and also has daily activity in the beach. Thanks to Habiba for entertaining us and chef kamal.
