Olive 8 is a good quality hotel in a great location at a price that is not bad by contemporary standards. Friendly helpful staff. The pool is very nice. Rooms are comfortable and decent size. Beds great. Room temp control works well.

What they ended up doing was charging me $25 per day plus tax (nearly $60) for destination fees. No one told me this and my stay was confirmed fully paid upon check in. My other complaint is I tried to order room service for dinner and was transferred to voicemail four different times, and when I finally insisted on a live person he was short with me. I ordered two hamburgers and fries, a Dr. Pepper, and a $50 bottle of wine and my bill was $148!! The wine was good (can't screw that up) but the burgers and fries were not worth even half of what they charged. This was my first time staying at a Hyatt property and I doubt I will be back. While the hotel is nice, there are hidden fees that are never disclosed at the time of the booking or at check in. $75 in fees, food is overpriced.

Great location and great service! Staff were friendly and the rooms were very well maintained. Did not try their spa or fitness services, so cannot comment on that

Was not the best experience. I was on a quiet floor but housekeeping staff was loud and constantly going in and out of a closet next to my room which lent to loud slamming all day. While I was there for work, I requested a quiet room and even gave up a nicer room to be on the designated "quiet floor." I would not have done that knowing what I… Read more
