Myself and my boys (age 9 & 13) had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The room was an excellent size for New York and for the amount of time you spend in the room. Location is fantastic right by the subway and a couple of blocks from Times Square. We were on the 29th floor and heard no noise at all from the street - I would request a high… Read more

All was wonderful here, bed was extremely comfortable….lounge was lively. Service solid…extremely clean. I do want to recognize Charles, Front Bellman who went out of his way to assist us… and others. The staff is amazing, courteous, professional and accommodating. The rooms need an update and some general maintenance. The ceiling in the shower is peeling, the wood unit where the TV sits is worn, severely scratched and needs attention. The carpet in the rooms is dirty, old and smelly. The ceiling in the shower is peeling, the wood unit where the TV sits is worn, severely scratched and needs attention. The carpet in the rooms is dirty, old and smelly. The mattress if you sit on the edge you can feel a plastic edge which is hard. Also, would suggest looking at a sitting configuration whereby there are two chairs rather than one velvet fabric chair which is dirty and old. Lastly, could use a suitcase stand…A 4 star property can do better Read less

We included the daily parking fee in our reservation and parked near the hotel in an Edison parking garage which also housed rental car pickup and drop off. We were unaware until we were held up in line in the garage that it is valet parking only. When we went to pick up our car the next day there was nobody in the pick up area office to answer a question. Read less

I stayed here for a night in May 2024. The hotel is very well situated both for the myriad companies but also of course all that New York can offer. The Whitney is only 20 minutes away via the High Line to give you an example. The hotel room was excellent with a fantastic view, and the bed comfortable and offering a great night sleep. The Whitney is only 20 minutes away via the High Line to give you an example. The hotel room was excellent with a fantastic view, and the bed comfortable and offering a great night sleep. The shower pressure was perfect and of course I enjoyed the excellent slippers. My only comment would be the breakfast. I was surprised that there was little mention of a la carte options. In fact I don’t think it was ever mentioned. Special mention of the wonderful staff at the ambassador check in - efficient and friendly and a credit to the brand. Read less
