The hotel

Mixing an intimate feel with a super-central spot in upmarket Coconut Grove, and the uber-cool styling you’d expect from a Miami hotel, The Mayfair has it all. In fact you don’t even need to venture out — the Miami scene comes to you, with the hotel’s Above Mayfair rooftop pool lounge featuring weekly ‘Sunset of Miami’ pool parties, Friday night happy hours, resident DJs, a curved Gaudi-esque seating wall complete with fireplace, a casual food menu, and custom cocktails. Where is it

In the heart of upscale Coconut Grove, a district famous for its al fresco café culture, high-energy nightlife and shopping, it’s just moments from CocoWalk’s dining and entertainment, and 10-minute walk from Biscayne Bay, home to white sands, seafood and sailing. The hotel’s 15 minutes from downtown Miami and 20 minutes from South Beach. Driving time from Miami International Airport: 30 minutes.

Beautiful hotel. Very scenic with gardens throughout, perfect location in heart of Coconut Grove, wonderful spacious room and well appointed. There is a nice bar and coffee shop in the lobby. Great restaurants and shopping nearby. And the staff has been very attentive.

I attended a wedding in May 2024 in Coral Gables. I stayed at the Mayfair when I was in the area for the wedding. Carlos was working the valet and Mainor Perez helped me with my luggage to my room. Mainor was so accommodating and helped me get settled in. Carlos was also accommodating when I had challenges with my Uber App and having my car loaded… Read more

Only feedback on the room was that I had a tub shower and much of the water got outside the tub from my showers and then dripped on the floor.
