The oasis suite is my favorite and has a second bedroom perfect for small children. It also doubles as a screening room so has no windows-great for light sensitive sleepers! It has two bathrooms, which I also love. Views are fabulous, looking down the beach at the beautiful teal ocean. We usually order groceries to the room so we have things for breakfast. We always have lunch at the pool. Food is good. This past trip we had the sushi, grilled fish and poke bowl. The kids love the watermelon and frozen grapes. The pool is huge and gorgeous. They even have a few pool floats that the kids loved. They set up toys at the beach daily, which the kids also love. They are right on the boardwalk and it’s fun to walk either direction and get the energy of Miami Beach. Location is excellent. Walkable to many great restaurants and shopping! They have a good gym by Dogpound. Service is always very friendly and helpful. At checkin they let kids pick a toy from the treasure chest which was fun! One small area for improvement, I wish the living rooms had blackout shades, as it’s hard to have a kid sleep in there with the light pouring in. We will definitely be back! Read less

This hotel charges extra fees without notifying you. We booked a room with 2 queen beds, for a family of 4 (my kids are 11 and 8). We were charged an extra 150 per night. No one told us this. We certainly didn’t get extra pool chairs. Felt ripped off, soured an otherwise decent trip.

They have redone the rooms, so I think it is now the nicest hotel in Miami Beach. My W Insider was Sajaa , and she made the trip perfect. From making sure the room was the one I wanted to booking an impossible reservation at Delilah— she was able to make it all happen for us. Highly recommend if you are going to stay in South Beach. Image of the Tripadvisor rating Lady at the towel stand was very rude

My friends and I came to rent chairs on the beach, and the lady at the stand was horribly rude. She told us to walk to Walgreens to get towels. Very weird experience, I would definitely not recommend coming for a day to my friends as long as that lady is still working here. Gianni, Richard, Richard, and Joshua were great though.

My friends and I had an awful experience with horrible customer service at the W hotel. They doubled the prices of the beach chairs. They refused to give us towels and told us we could walk to Walgreens if we wanted towels. They also wouldn’t give us an umbrella. The only highlight was some of the staff.
