Where is it

In Montego Bay, 90-minutes away from Ocho Rios and its world famous Dunn's River Falls. Transfer time from Montego Bay airport: 5 minutes (please note there is some aircraft noise).

Hotel information

272 rooms and suites. Caribbean Seaside Oceanview Luxury are located on the first floor of the Oleander building, with views of the gardens, pool and some with ocean views.

Crystal Lagoon Honeymoon Oceanview Luxury Room with Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub are located in a prime location on the first and second floors of the Seagrapes building. These rooms have a spa-inspired bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower, and a Tranquility Soaking Tub for two on the balcony.

Beachfront Honeymoon Club Level Junior Suites are located on the upper floor of cottage 12, with views of the beach and ocean from the balcony. Some of these suites have a whirlpool tub and shower in one, and others have just a bath tub. These suites include complimentary transfers to and from the airport.

Crystal Lagoon Swim-up One Bedroom Butler Suite with Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub have a spacious balcony complete with Tranquility Soaking Tub for two, a bistro dining set and views of the pool and gardens, a separate living room, and a spa-style bathroom with large walk-in shower. This was our 2nd free week with Sandals! We chose this resort because we love the vibe and the staff here! The layout of the resort is easier for my husband to get around because he has mobility issues! We celebrated our Anniversary! Our only disappointment (we were Concierge level) was that while others in our building had decorations and had things in their room for their birthday or anniversary, sadly we did not😢😢😢! Although when we went to dinner that night at Butch’s, we ran into our butler that we had 6 yrs ago, Marvin! He set up a table for us, got drinks for us and put flowers on r table! Thanks, Marvin, for making our anniversary special and going the extra mile! It was appreciated! There was other staff throughout the resort that made our trip special…Raniel at Bayside ( who we also met 6 yrs ago), Teddy aka Ethan at main bar, Ravon and Romano at main bar, Bridget at Loyalty, Tamoya for beach service, Everton for all your help during our stay especially when I didnt bring the wheelchair one night and u pushed glenn on his rollator all the way back to r room - thank you - and Angella for housekeeping at the Palm Bldg. Thank you all for making our trip amazing! Lastly, we met so many amazing couples but Sue and Tom (Go Birds) and Kate and Dan! wow, what an amazing time we had but the best was the night when Sue, Kate and I realized we were all nurses and the nursing shots that followed! ha ha ha! We love MB and the staff! We also never had a problem getting chairs at the beach or a reservation at Butch’s or getting into any other restaurant at the resort when we wanted to dine! The entertainment was great. The weather was perfect. I would recommend and if you are planning a destination, wedding sandals would be perfect. My wife and I went here on our honeymoon. My wife has a food allergy that we were told wouldn’t be a problem. We were careful at each restaurant stating her allergy, some we had to leave, but that was OK because they told us they couldn’t guarantee it. Our third afternoon she had an allergic reaction. She was ok despite a high heart rate and itchy throat. I called the people at the front desk and had a meeting the following day where they apologized to us and said they would report the case. That night we went to dinner where her allergy was again ignored. I again reported it. We spent the next two days in the room because she was feeling bad. They sent a higher up who apologized and made sure our meals were taken care of the next 4 nights. They asked to meet and offered a token compensation if I agreed to sign and not publicize anything. I declined signing and stated I’d like to continue our conversation later. I have emailed, called, tried the chat on the website and have had zero follow up. I figured my best option now was to let people know that allergy restrictions were not met and hope that they look elsewhere. It’s still disappointing that we spent that much money to spend three days in our room because of a mistake we didn’t make. Read less

The wedding coordinator Nackiel was AMAZING she went above and beyond to make sure that my mom enjoyed her Special day. We love Sandals in Montego Bay. This resort has it all. If you want to relax poolside or beach side it’s no problem. The food is great, staff is friendly, and the resort is beautiful. Javell and DJ Danelo were so kind and helped us have the greatest time on the resort! I hope they are there for the next time we visit!
