Fairmont Gold was a 24 carat experience! The room was gorgeous the lounge ambience and food was amazing. Not a bad view anywhere in the hotel. Every staff member treated me like I was the most important guest. The gym and pool were spectacular. What an amazing way to watch the sunrise! Truly a castle in the mountains. It had been years since I was last in the Rockies and I forgot how beautiful the mountains are there. Such stunning views. They have succeeded in making such a relaxing space, a perfect place to unwind in. Read less

This is the only time I have slept at a hotel and woke up thinking I was in my own house, but woke up even happier knowing I was on vacation. The bed was extremely comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. I was working at a conference at the hotel and it was very convenient to get to the conference centre outside from the lobby and through the hallways that joined the buildings. The concierge service through text was extremely helpful and saved a lot of time. There was a lot to do within the hotel that my husband and kids didn't even need to go anywhere. The breakfast buffet included in our room had so many options and the valet parking service that our room included was a lifesaver as we had little kids and lots of little things we needed to get from our car throughout our stay. Other things we did: had dinner at Waldhaus (staff drove us to the building), went swimming, kids played at Kids @ the Castle, Bingo night, went into town to the local IGA to get some snacks for the kids, and stopped at the natural playground in Central park a few minutes drive away so the kids could use up some energy. We also went to Lake Louise for an hour (45 minute drive away) and went up the Gondola. Overall, we had the best time and the Fairmont is the most accommodating, clean, and professional place to stay. Everyone was so kind and seemed genuinely happy. We will definitely return in the future. Read less

The hotel was great. Staff were great and the rooms were very clean. The only negative thing I would say about this place were the squealing pipes in our bathroom in which we had to close our bathroom door at night.
