Treasure Beach by Elegant Hotels

Barbados, Caribbean

The hotel

There’s no denying Barbados’s Platinum West Coast is a magnet for beach lovers – so it’s rare to find a little sanctuary along its crowd-pulling sands that promises total serenity. Cue Treasure Beach by Elegant Hotels. Making its comeback in 2017, this boutique hotel reopened its doors to reveal an intimate adults-only concept and bespoke art, culinary, and cultural experiences, from the complimentary Chef’s Dinner (for guests staying five nights or more) to nightly Sundowner Hour and Treasure Art Crawls around the island’s galleries and museums. Of course this is the Caribbean, so they’ve added a Beach and Pool Ambassador Service for those lazy island days. You can also hop on the free water taxi to sister properties, with more than 15 restaurants and bars, or simply ‘stay in’ to enjoy Treasure Beach’s complimentary breakfasts and the gourmet gastronomy of The Tapestry.

This hotel is lovely, food very good and great location, we had a lovely room overlooking the sea. After looking at the Tamarind next door this is much better, smaller and adults only. The only thing which isn't great is if it rains hard, I wouldn't recommend being on the ground floor, the recent renovations haven't taken the big downpours and… Read more

It was quite obvious two restaurant staff in particular (Leanord and a girl) were not happy serving customers who had paid for a high level of service and made that quite obvious to the residents. A couple we me were in tears as the two were so abrupt! They should not have been working there… Read more

There is something really special about the Treasure Beach hotel that makes you feel so welcome. Abosolutely loved the cosy artistic ambience, modern amenities and the lovely and professional staff. The Tapestry restaurant onsite with head chef Jevon Cummins is a foodie's dream. Just pure creativity and bliss. We will be back!

This is a small boutique hotel and we loved the intimacy and layout of the hotel. The staff were absolutely incredible, and made our honeymoon especially memorable. This review doesn't do this hotel justice, it was more than we could have hoped for, and we both look forward to returning soon. Read less
