Treasure Beach by Elegant Hotels

Barbados, Caribbean

The hotel

There’s no denying Barbados’s Platinum West Coast is a magnet for beach lovers – so it’s rare to find a little sanctuary along its crowd-pulling sands that promises total serenity. Cue Treasure Beach by Elegant Hotels. Making its comeback in 2017, this boutique hotel reopened its doors to reveal an intimate adults-only concept and bespoke art, culinary, and cultural experiences, from the complimentary Chef’s Dinner (for guests staying five nights or more) to nightly Sundowner Hour and Treasure Art Crawls around the island’s galleries and museums. Of course this is the Caribbean, so they’ve added a Beach and Pool Ambassador Service for those lazy island days. You can also hop on the free water taxi to sister properties, with more than 15 restaurants and bars, or simply ‘stay in’ to enjoy Treasure Beach’s complimentary breakfasts and the gourmet gastronomy of The Tapestry.

This is an excellent hotel and although small it's very professionally run by staff that care. The rooms are very spacious and all of the pool furnishings top notch the best on the island regardless of cost. this along with good food. Having been to Barbados many times this hotel has been my favourite and look forward to returning in due course

We are so happy we chose Treasure Beach Hotel. We could not have asked for a better introduction to Barbados . The people make the place. If you're looking for a quiet get away this is it. There are many options if you want to get off the premises as well. Make sure you take advantage of Charlie's glass bottom boat and swim with the turtles and see the beautiful fish. He also offers great foot massages on the beach. The surf is not rough and sunsets are beautiful. Their sundowner hour is a real favorite as well as its nice to talk to the other guests to hear about their excursions. The people that work there can not do enough to make sure that your vacation meets your expectations. I certainly plan on going back. Read less

We went to Barbados 5/22- 6/1/2019 for the first time. I was not sure where to book since we had never been there so I went off the reviews on Trip Advisor. We chose two hotels on different sides of the Island. We stayed at Treasure Beach first for 5 days. What a charming, unique little gem of a hotel. The hotel was elegant and clean and had the cutest furnishings. Very clean and lots of attention to detail. The staff was awesome they treated us like family! Shout out to Francois at the front desk and Ian in the bar and restaurant area, you two made our stay very pleasant thanks for all you did to help us and also for allowing us to return for 3 days when the other hotel did not work out because it was on the East side of the island and had so much seaweed you could not get in the ocean and we were devastated. We loved Barbados and your hotel and can not wait to return again next year. The rooms were clean and spacious, the free breakfast was wonderfully delicious and large portions and the free dinner for staying 5 nights was great as well. Ian we appriciate all your wonderful reccomendations from restaurants to places to go for fun. You can't find a finer place to stay than Treasure Beach. The beach was so beautiful and calm and no seaweed. We truely enjoyed our stay.We will be back for sure! Read less

We stayed here 9 years ago for my 50th birthday and had a great time. So we booked again for my 59th birthday 2 weeks relaxation. We had an awesome time again, weather was just about perfect and restaurants very good, if somewhat expensive. The room does have a fridge in it which we used for soft drinks and beers etc, which proved to be a way of reducing drinks costs :-) The hotel has been taken over by Elegant Hotels subsequent to our first visit, and a number of upgrades to facilities and rooms done. The hotel has a great location, being just outside Holetown and on the beach. We stayed bed and breakfast, and the breakfast was good. My only real issue is the level of service can be very erratic. It may be a Caribbean thing, but we visit Dubai and the Maldives regularly and the levels of customer service are light years ahead. If we return to Barbados which we most probably will do we would definitely consider returning again to this hotel. Read less
