I'm a repeat guest to Couples, this is our fifth and final visit. For those of you travelling under the restrictions imposed by CV-19 this might make interesting reading; This is my first day and it has left a lasting impression, one never experienced in all our past visits. 5am up and about went to use the gym, locked should be open by now but alas, no sign of any awake staff? Night staff asleep in reception, gate staff fast asleep at the gated desk to the entire site? Anyone could have got in, do you feel safe, I certainly didn't and as for the other guests they were blissfully unaware! We all know crime in Jamaica is high and tourists are targeted hence why we are advised not to go out alone and when we do only in escorted groups. We all go to sleep at night feeling secure that the hotels have people in place to watch over us....but are they watching or sleeping? I discovered its the latter, anyone could have got in, just by ducking under the barrier completely unchallenged! Diving - a cautionary tale; I'm a certified diver with nearly 15+ years experience and have dived here many times before, I know what to expect.....but.....if your 45 yrs old with any condition (as I have hypertension) medicated and under control they will now restrict your ability to dive? The new diving policy is.....you need a doctors letter? Nice to hear once your on site, with no chance of getting one whilst on holiday! My advice perhaps don't be so honest, or go elsewhere. I've never come across this before and was diving in Dubai only 8 weeks previously. In fact all divers are required to self certify. The dive shop takes a different view, regardless of the fact your perfectly healthy qualified and able. Today we used the nude island as we have many times in the past. Up until 2pm everything was fine and sensible but by 3pm it was very busy; 25+ in the very small pool, social distancing, what's that? If you're interested in your safety then perhaps the pool area on the island is not the place to be as clearly its not being safely managed by the hotel management. We are in the mist of a pandemic yet it very much feels like business as usual? We will be cutting our trip short, safety has clearly go out of the window, this is not the Resort we have fond memories of, a great shame. Read less

We just got home from our most recent trip to CTI. The staff greeted us with “welcome home”. We have been going to CTI for 38 years. The staff is always gracious and welcoming and we could tell they were smiling despite the masks they were all wearing. We always meet new and repeat guests who enjoy the ambiance of an all inclusive resort just for them, a chance to get away from work, kids and grandkids and just enjoy being with each other. The food is wonderful and varied, we were there for 25 days and only repeated the lobster and fillet mignon dinners. Activities are as varied or laid back as you want them to be. I scuba dive every day, did so on 23 out of 24 days. Tropical storm Nana rained us out one day. The best compliment we have heard about the staff from first timers is “ The staff treats you all very well because you have been here so many times but you know what? They treat us the same way!” We can’t tell you how many times we have heard from first timers, “ We’ll be back”. Jamaica had an advertising slogan that said “ once you go you’ll know”. CTI could say the same thing. My wife and I have a saying, “ A week at couples is cheaper and more fun than a marriage counselor” We often say that CTI is the best vacation value on the planet! We travel a lot and it’s hard for the rest of the world to measure up! The staff and management are doing very well with the resort at a “relaxed level of occupancy”. We felt very comfortable during this time of dramatically reduced travel. Go on down and enjoy Jamaica’s Sun, Sand, and Sea! It’s a very healthy environment. We’re going back in October. Read less
