My wife and I loved every bit of our stay at CTI! Great food, friendly staff and guests. Love the au natural little island and pool where it is private so that couples who are not comfortable with that can easily enjoy the main resort with no problems. We are going to return!!

i returned to Tower Isle having visited as a child 60 years ago when it was just opening! It has been maintained well and is a gem in the Caribbean that I will always remember! It still maintains elements of its colonial splendour. The staff are exceptional - nothing is too much trouble for anyone and they are friendly, chatty and always smiling. Dominque on the beach was so attentive and always happy to bring whatever cocktail we wanted! We liked Bayside restaurant the best. It is over the water and on Fridays they serve lobster which was delicious. Fridays is Lobster day in all the restaurants. Watersports were great and sailing on the Hobie cat daily was a highlight! The kayaks and water bikes looked fun! The glass bottom cruise was fun and the captain was very informative about the local history! We did an excursion to the Martha Brae river which I had done 60 years earlier! It was as serene and unspoilt as I had remembered and a visit to the Luminous lagoon was amazing! A long day and road trip as the traffic in Ocho Rios is terrible. They are desperately hoping to get a new bypass road but it will inevitably take many years. Our room was on the west side of the property away from main pool and patio bar. It was quiet and had a breathtaking view of Tower Isle and the sea. It was close to one of the pools that had a swim up bar. Room Service for breakfast was a welcome treat. This is a small and intimate resort but its has so many wonderful touches - a coffee bar, veggie bar, tennis, golf, pickleball, gym, games room, yoga, beach parties, volleyball, the spa and for the adventurous the clothes free Island which was worth visiting but I was happy to leave at 8.59am when the no clothes allowed policy is enforced! The evening entertainments was fun and varied. The cocktails flow, the food is fabulous and you won't want to leave! So many people we met were 'repeaters' - one group having been visiting for over 30 years! The beach is small but there is always somewhere to sit and the sea was warm and inviting. They have three trampolines in the water for lounging on. We will hopefully return. Montego Bay airport was well organised and we had no trouble getting through quickly! We found the gift shops at the airport to be well stocked and reasonably priced and wished we'd done some of our shopping there as the prices were high in Ocho and surrounding places. It is well worth stocking up on Jamaican rum and rum cream if that is your tipple! Read less

My wife and I loved Eight rivers for our last dinner, the ambience, service and food was impeccable! The Patio, Bayside and Verandah were all excellent too. We also took advantage of the breakfast roomservice on our balcony which was a treat! The fruit and veggie bar at the beach was a nice healthy option too. Philip is an accomplished skipper and took us for our daily sail around the island. Also enjoyed the kayak on our own. The water sports guys were all very friendly and helpful! Great place to unwind! Hope to go back again soon. Read less
