This was our 4th trip to Palm Island and it was fantastic. We were quarantined for 5 days which initially we were disappointed to find out but it turned out great, we had our room and private beach with full service from the bar and room service with the same excellent food they serve in the dining room. The staff went overboard to make our stay special and the whole island is set up for social distancing and Covid precautions so we were worry free. We decided to stay a second week to enjoy the island and amenities like it was our own private island because we were the only guests there out of quarantine. Everything was as good as you would expect from Palm Island only better because the individual attention we got was amazing. Travel to the resort was the easiest we’ve ever had, our flight from the states to Barbados had eight passengers and the return had only seventeen. Covid precautions are being taken very seriously in Barbados and there are no crowds or lines due to decreased passenger volumes. My advice: When Covid gives you lemons, make lemonade! Go now and take advantage of the reduced occupancy to make an amazing place even more amazing, but if you can’t go now it will always be a wonderful, peaceful, romantic place to stay. Read less

First of all the place is absolutely breathtaking, one of the most gorgeous islands we've been to in the Caribbean. The pictures do not do it justice! Things were quite different for our trip because we were the first guests, along with 2 others, to visit Palm Island since reopening due to Covid. We knew there would be a quarantine but I still really wanted to go. The quarantine was actually longer than we thought it would be, 5 days, but the staff made it such an amazing and special trip. They went out of the way to make sure we had the absolute best time we could given the circumstances and we did! Yes we were stuck in our place for 5 days but we had the whole beach area to explore and enjoy. We booked Sea Feathers and it was the perfect place to stay if you have to be quarantined. The fridge was fully stocked with snacks, drinks, sodas, beers, wines, champagne, anything we would want. The house was also stocked with liquor so we were very happy haha! Having the huge deck, hot tub and beautiful stretch of beach in front of the house made us not want to leave much anyway. I was quite content but I will say by day 4 I was getting antsy to go exploring. For meals, we had a menu that we ordered from everyday and they served breakfast, lunch and dinner to the house at our chosen time. The food was very good and they did not let us go hungry! We even had surprise afternoon snacks delivered everyday. You could order drinks throughout the day and dinner, really anything you wanted they would bring you. Although we missed eating in the restaurant is was kind of nice sitting on our back deck, on the beach or in bed having our meals. Our last night in the restaurant was superb! Our last night day was our only free day and we made the most of it. Woke up early, took a bike ride around the island then ate breakfast in the restaurant. We took a Yanni's tour and I can't recommend that enough, it was amazing! When we got back we took the golf cart around the island and explored. Of course I wish we had more time to enjoy everything the island has to offer but I do not regret going when we did. There was something special about being almost the only people there and while in quarantine on our side of the island it felt like were the only people. We don't visit too many places outside of the states more than once because there are so many places in the world to visit and explore, but I can say without a doubt we will be returning to Palm Island in the next year or two. This place is really special! The staff is very special! I cannot wait to visit it again! Read less

Simply amazing! Luxury in a quite relaxed atmosphere. Staff was so nice and kind. Food and drinks was extremely delicious. You can do water sports, bike around the pretty little island or just enjoy the sea and sun on the comfortable sun beds. I love the eco friendly profile too!

We stayed at Palm from March 9-19. The fact that you are "welcomed home" by the staff speaks volumes of the experience you get on the island. I'm not just talking about the welcome at the dock when you arrive, but the arrival in the restaurant the 1st evening and staff you remember also remember you. Even though the was our 3rd visit, it was the 1st time we met Katie. She had been on holiday the other two times. We can't say enough about what a wonderful person she is. She is a effective manager who is loved by her staff. That fact is a real key to the pleasure of being there. In my 1st review 6 years ago, I said "The staff will soothe your soul". Well the very same folks were there this time and they are still just as wonderful. I will not name anyone since all are wonderful! On this visit we unfortunately had the underlying nagging fact of the spread of the coronavirus through the world. Katie put in the best precautions she could by having staff do the serving at the buffet. Although people were aware of the crisis it was evident that the atmosphere did not get shattered as it could have. There was empathy for all and this allowed us to basically just have fun and enjoy ourselves until we had to go home. Many folks were leaving early to get home if they could get the flights, others like us just stayed our regular time. A week after we left, They had to close up shop. There are only 2 cases on the main island of St. Vincent and I hope it stays that way and does not spread to the other island. My thoughts are with Katie and the staff who remain. This crisis will ultimately pass and we look forward to the time when we will make our 4th visit, returning home to our island paradise. Thank you Katie and all of the staff there. PS - On a visit to the greenhouse the farmer appreciates getting vegetable seeds from guests so I'll make sure to bring some next time! Read less
