This was a dream of a vacation! Prior to arrival we had a private car arranged from the airport, then we were taken to the resort by water taxi and while checking in the front office staff gave us refreshments and upgraded our villa! They made every effort to make our stay as smooth as possible. They were especially clear explaining the procedures for the COVID tests in the sandbox program. The food was incredible every night and we even scheduled a private dinner on the beach, which was so romantic and personal. The kitchen allowed us to swap some items on the menu to fit our taste. The entire staff at the resort was remarkably professional and quick! We really enjoyed the spa, especially the saunas. The massages do book quickly so definitely try to book a couple of days in advance! The entire spa was just as amazing as the rest of the resort. Couldn't recommend it enough! We can't wait to be back. Read less

The settings are pretty with all the exotic flowers and trees, it is lovely to walk there. We had two bedroom pool villa which was great. To have a decent sized pool just for ourselves was great! However upon our arrival the places was so dirty (dusty and filthy floor with some old hair etc) we had to ask for extra cleaning. After that ok but I would say still a bit below expectations (certainly for 5 star resort). The biggest dissapointment was the beach - it is so dirty, so so dirty... no one was ever swimming (we had one week there) or walking on the beach as there was broken glass and who knows what else. Big dissapointment indeed... we went to this island to have some beach fun which was impossible. Also water muddy at all times. Water taxi free upon arrival and departure, other times you pay. Some other 5 star resorts have water taxi free at all times. Food overpriced but good quality. Coctails good. The whole place needs refresh though (furniture, water slides...). Lovely spa, good masage. Read less

15 years of wear and tear in combination with covid had brought this resort on it's knees. Staff with poor communication skills and very poor knowledge unfortunately made our stay pretty bad. With a price per night of €100-150 it resembles what's its worth, but a 5 star rating still doesn't live up to the service level they provided. Perhaps they might be able to improve this over time. But we felt that the management kept blaming bad staff for all problems... usually management are responsible for performance and not the other way around. Read less

Great to see the Village up and running with a real buzz over Xmas Peaceful but there is still plenty to do and the food at the front restaurant is a good mixture of Thai and western cuisine. Love The beach bar with music most nights and great service . It todays world can not think of a much better place to be.
