Stayed here for one night on a last second trip to Disney World with my family. Hotel is convenient as it is a stones throw away from the Disney World property and a 16 minute drive from Magic Kingdom. Hotel lobby was clean and has a Starbucks cafe as well as an area to purchase tickets to Disney, Universal, etc. They also have maps and literature to the different theme parks around the area. The front desk said they also provide complimentary shuttles to the theme parks but we did not use this service. Staff both at check-in and check-out were very friendly. The thing you have to keep in mind is this is a very big resort and vastly laid out. The room was clean. They had a TV and a fridge as well as coffee and a coffee maker. My only complaints were as followed: First the check-in process took a while. When I arrived Friday night at 8:40pm there was a long line of guests waiting to check-in. I would say it was about 10-15mins before I was helped. By the time I got my room keys the line to check-in at least doubled in size. I don’t know if this is always the case but when you get back after spending all day at the parks, the last thing you want to do is wait a long time to get access to your room. I know they were doing their best as they had at least 3 people at the desks checking guests in. Second, was the resort fee. Most hotels especially in Orlando charge you a daily resort fee which in this case was $25. I know there’s nothing they can do about this. They also charge you $15 for day/night parking per day. Again, most resorts including Disney and Universal do this so nothing they can do about it but it just sucks getting nickeled and dimed. Thirdly, the rooms aren’t exactly immune from noises out in the hallway. I could hear an entire conversation outside the hallway from within my room late at night as we were going to sleep. Other than these few things we had an enjoyable stay. To note this hotel is also a ‘Disney Good Neighbor Hotel’ meaning it is on a list of Disney approved hotels if you aren’t staying on Disney property. Good for the value. Read less

The Center has very easy access to Interstate 4 and is close to The Magic Kingdom (for which it offers shuttle service). The lobby area is open and modern looking, the staff were friendly and helpful. The parking is room key activated and costs $15/day. The rooms were neither spacious nor cramped, the bathroom was a little small and had few luxuries (this didn't matter to me, but might matter to other potential guests). There is a large, attractively designed outdoor swimming pool area. The larger pool has a waterfall and water slide. The smaller pool is heated, and there is also a jacuzzi style pool in the same area. The corridor walls and floors looked a little worse for wear, but didn't appear to be dirty. This is to be expected from the undoubtedly heavy traffic that they endure. The Conference building has at least 3 small to medium sized rooms; I'm not certain about the available technology. The catered refreshments were the standard fare and quality. Apparently, there are plans to convert the Center into a Marriott facility. So this review could become obsolete once that happens. I checked in at around 1 pm. I first got bad vibes by all the old and shut down business near Orlando Grand. When I checked in and drove around the rear of building where my room was located building 1000. I noticed people walking around the parking lot that looked like they had no business with the hotel. They were all hanging around old run down car. So Got my luggage and headed into building 1000. My room was on the 3rd floor. When I first entered the building my family and I noticed an old mildew smell. Got to room and open the door and it smelled real bad in the room. Started inspecting and this room was disgusting.bathroom filled with mildew and old water damaged all over the walls. The tile in shower was filled with mildew also Found old clothes near are bed that was left maybe by last guest. Walls through out room were disgusting. Called front office about canceling and they told me that I can’t because I booked my room through Booking.com. Contacted Booking.com over an hour wait due to the Corvid 19 problem. Finally spoke with an agent arguing with him for about 45 min all they could do was wait till a manger Orlando Grand resort gets with them. I sent them around 10 different pictures of this filth. As of now I don’t know my outcome of this dispute. Contacted my credit card company and opened a dispute with them also. I got my family out of this filth and had to go and check in to another place. I will never deal with Booking.com ever again. And Booking.com needs to take this place off there site. Anybody thinking of staying at this place Please listen to me and DONT!!! Read less

This hotel was exactly what I expected when I booked (before reading all the negative reviews). The common areas were great, my room was a decent size and clean and generally reflective of the on-line photos. Bathroom was small, but that wasn't a big deal. This was a good price/quality ratio, even with the resort fee and parking fee (which we knew about before we booked). The big pool was cold, but the slide was a lot of fun. Good place to stay if you're on a budget. We were in building 1000 on the 3rd floor, facing the pool. It was a good room, with a nice view. Read less

We arrived late and got a room which was not properly cleaned in an old part of the hotel. The staff were quite friendly and upgraded us to a (clean) room with pool view in new buildings and included breakfastticket because we waited 45 minutes for the new room. We had booked via Hotels.com but had to pay extra for parking on the hotel premise (and who does not drive a car in Florida), and to pay a "Resort fee" of 25 USD per day. We argued sucessfully against the resort fee. But it is a nuisance to have to discuss these matters. So: Friendly staff, but pricing and cleanliness is so so. Read less
