Disney's BoardWalk Inn

Walt Disney World, Orlando

The hotel

This magical waterfront property will take you back to 1930s America with its mix of colonial-style buildings steeped in old-fashioned charm. It’s smack, bang in the middle of the lively BoardWalk with picturesque views of the harbour and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to explore. Kids will adore the swimming pool complex with its 61-metre water slide and white-sand beach, while adults can enjoy a leisurely swim in the quiet pool. It’s particularly fun to stay at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn as the whole area comes alive at night when duelling pianos get to work to the delight of the crowds, and everyone gets into the holiday mood. It’s dead easy to get to Epcot on the water taxi or by foot, and the restaurants of Disney’s Yacht Club and Disney’s Beach Club Resorts are close by for dining variety.

Stayed here with the kids for our 18th anniversary. Spent a lot of time at the big feature pool. Loved it. Definite bucket list. We had a room right below the Club Level lounge. A bit noisy and food smelling, but the room was lovely and had a good view of the new Skyliner and one of the quiet pools. A long commute to get there though. Or anywhere.… Read more

If I stayed again, I’d request a room near the center. Watched the Descendants 3 premiere in the community center. Great location to all that the boardwalk offers. Read less

Just returned from WDW and stayed here, not our first time. Pros: Obviously, the location to Epcot and Hollywood Studios not to mention the availability of restaurants and night life. The staff is wonderful and so accommodating. Holiday decorations were beautiful. Cons: I just wish there was a Quick Service option with seating indoors like Yacht Club. The lounge options are limited and there’s no seating at the Boardwalk Bakery when it’s cool out and this week it was cooler. So, you’re left to take food back to your room which is not convenient. The second con, Boardwalk Inn is showing it’s age in the rooms. The USB ports did not work at desk. The electrical outlet on left side of sink did not work. Lamp fixture over bed was loose and cockeyed. Drawer holding coffee etc. smelled so musty. Also, mold was growing under the tub soap dish. Finally, extras like plastic bag for swim suits and note paper to leave notes for Mousekeeping were missing. Cutbacks I guess. Read less

It’s so good to see all of our favorite cast members who recognize us. We love the location to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. My kids enjoy the night performers on the Boardwalk. We enjoyed ESPN and Big River Grille this year as well. The entire resort staff is excellent! A special shout out to Lene who shared her pixie dust with us. ❤️ We are grateful! Thank you to Lorenzo, Reggie, Breanna, Joe, JJ, Sabrina, Kelly, Jackie, Stephen, Linda, and Anita for making our stay a little extra special. Until next time.... we will be back Nov 2020! Read less

My room was very spacious, although I was by myself. I had a room overlooking a courtyard. I did not use the big pool because the clown slide scared me. I did use the smaller quiet pool several times, and it was very relaxing and peaceful. Only about 2 other people using it. I spent most of my time in Epcot at the Food and Wine festival, so a very short walk back to the hotel. Loved being able to walk to either Epcot or Hollywood Studios or take the boat if it was too hot. Ended every night walking around the Boardwalk, eating ice cream and people watching. Would definitely recommend staying here and hope to come back again. Read less

My husband and I went here for a couples night and to do the food and wine festival at Epcot. The people were friendly and the room was relaxing. This was the first time we stayed at this resort. We have stayed a many others over the years, but this one is definitely a place to stay again. It is walking distance to both EPCOT and Hollywood studios(you can take the skyline from EPCOT/Boardwalk gateway to Hollywood Studios) or you can take the boat. There are several pools with hot tubs (two quiet and one with water slide), the quiet pools were very quiet and relaxing. The bakery on the Boardwalk has some excellent pastries and lunch sandwiches and coffee. There are carnival games to play with prizes. And there is entertainment on the boardwalk in the evening. Our room had a patio to sit outside and enjoy the view. We could hear the fireworks from Epcot in the room but this did not bother us, just an fyi for those that will be in bed before the fireworks begin. Our room had a hotel refrigerator and coffee pot but there was not a microwave. Read less
