Disney's BoardWalk Inn

Walt Disney World, Orlando

The hotel

This magical waterfront property will take you back to 1930s America with its mix of colonial-style buildings steeped in old-fashioned charm. It’s smack, bang in the middle of the lively BoardWalk with picturesque views of the harbour and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to explore. Kids will adore the swimming pool complex with its 61-metre water slide and white-sand beach, while adults can enjoy a leisurely swim in the quiet pool. It’s particularly fun to stay at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn as the whole area comes alive at night when duelling pianos get to work to the delight of the crowds, and everyone gets into the holiday mood. It’s dead easy to get to Epcot on the water taxi or by foot, and the restaurants of Disney’s Yacht Club and Disney’s Beach Club Resorts are close by for dining variety.

Admittedly I was apprehensive with staying at a new to us resort. We’ve previous stayed at the Yacht Club and Beach Club Resorts. We were pleasantly surprised with Disney’s Boardwalk! We were on the third floor, balcony that faced the open field next to the surrey bicycles. We could see performers on the boardwalk from the balcony which was pretty neat. Thankfully once the sliding doors were closed, you couldn’t hear any outside noise. The resort is beautifully appointed with antiques relating to the 1920s era. Our room was spacious with plenty of dresser drawers, keurig coffee maker, flat screen tv, small refrigerator, an overstuffed upholstered chair that converts to a twin bed, and a king size bed. The restroom was clean, had a bath/shower combo and a spacious counter. The photo shown our balcony view! Overall we had a very nice stay at the Boardwalk. Read less

One of Disney’s best Disney world hotels in a great location for walking to both Epcot and Studios. Plenty of entertainment on the Boardwalk, good restaurants and bars. A room facing the Boardwalk have the best views.

Able to walk to Epcot and Hollywood made the trip plus all the other activities that take place on the boardwalk were convenient. Hotel was clean. Room was cleaned daily and the staff always took our daughters toys and had them around the room doing funny poses when we got back in the evenings. They even took a towel and put Disney headbands around them that the girls had brought to organize them. Room seemed spacious for the 5 of us and I like to have my space but being out of the room everyday and coming back tired I think that may have contribute to us not bothering each other. I cannot wait to come back and this location is always going to be a contender. Read less

very nice place. You can walk to Epcot, and also the Disney Studios, and now take a new Gondola Ride in oct 2019. Although I have not stayed in the rooms, I have seen photos, and they are very nice. I have stayed in 12 resorts, but the beach club and boardwalk area is my favorite. I am going back in December again this year. You will love it
