A sure family favourite, Disney's Pop Century celebrates fads of the 1950s through to the 90s. There's something for everyone here - you'll love the themed pools, complete with water jets, and you can dine in a relaxed fashion at the food court. When the night rolls around, enjoy movies under the stars, or head to the games arcade for an evening of laughs before heading to your room. And when you're ready to hit the parks, hop on the Skyliner, a new gondola that gives you amazing birds-eye views while taking you to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

2,880 rooms on 4 floors in 10 buildings with 3 lifts per building. All have air-conditioning, cable TV with Disney Channel, safe, mini-fridge, hairdryer, iron and board. Standard Rooms feature 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults, plus 1 child under 3 years in a cot.

Use of the Walt Disney World Resort Transportation System is included in your stay. Complimentary hotel parking.

Like other budget Disney hotels, there are numerous buildings with exterior entry only, the rooms are small but clean, and the restaurant, store and pools close at 11pm. The thing that sets this location apart is the skyliner gondola, only steps away from the main building. This smooth ride takes you into Hollywood Studios in 5 minutes, or Epcot in 15 minutes. Staff are all extremely friendly as you'd expect from a Disney Resort. Couple of negatives on the actual accommodation: - The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything from people around you (such as your upstairs neighbour going to the toilet...) - WiFi is very temperamental. When it works it's fine, but it cuts out constantly - You can't cast YouTube to the in-room TVs as it's disabled. This was originally an issue with the casting provider (Hyatt Hotels had the same issue), but they fixed it years ago. Needs somebody at Disney to flick the switch to turn it back on. Read less

This was me and my fiancé's first time staying at this resort and we were so happy we chose to stay here. The skyliner was a big selling point and because we were doing a split stay this allowed us to save some money, as well. It did not feel like a value resort, at all. Our room was in the 80s section on the 2nd floor, near the giant Roger Rabbit. It seemed like it was a recently updated room. We loved it. The bathroom had a walk-in shower which we were pleasantly surprised by. The room itself was spacious and had a table and chairs that could have easily been converted into another queen bed, if we desired. The room was very well insulated. We didn't hear anyone above us, next to us or outside on the walkways. If we stay here again, I will probably request a room in the 50s or 60s section since that was closest to the skyliner access, but honestly this place can't be beat and everything was a short walk away. We used the quick service for some meals and shopped in the stores. We didn't get a chance to use the pool amenities, but it looked like a great time. The theming is so fun and there are a lot of cool phot ops if you are into that. If you are debating whether or not to stay here, just do it! It was a great stay, and we will definitely be back for future trips. Read less

We stayed at Pop in early January. In the app it told me our room number and a room code, so we were able to head straight to the room to drop off our bags. We were in building 2 in the 50s. It’s pretty far out in the property, but that makes it quiet. It’s close to the bowling pin pool, and the laundromat which was handy, but a bit of a trek to the main building/shuttles. Once we went to the front desk we picked up our magic bands and used those to get in our room for the rest of the week. The room itself was great. The Murphy bed was comfortable and we found it easier to keep down instead of lifting it up or down everyday. Even with it down, we didn’t find we lacked space. In terms of storage, there was a dresser, and the bathroom had a closet and lots of shelving. I was impressed with how much there was. The room had an icebox, but we kept fruit, yogurt and cheese in there without any issue. There was also a coffee maker on a desk with more storage areas. The walk to the shuttles was about 5 mins, which was fine really. The shuttles themselves were super handy. You line up for whichever park you want, and shuttles were every few mins. The use of the sky liner was super handy for Epcot and Hollywood studios. When the line was long, it goes towards the 60s, so it meant a shorter walk. Pop only has 2 Landry facilities and 1 is in the 60s. You need to download an app and pay that way. There was not a lot of signage on needing to download the app and what to do, but another guest helped me fortunately. Overall, we really enjoyed Pop and if we return to Disney, we’d happily stay here again. Read less

Fantastic experience. Beautiful meticulous grounds. Atmosphere great. Loved it. The pool had 50s music that created nice charm. Kids loved everything. We got lucky and got a ground floor room near the bowling pin shaped pool. Great time saver not having to take elevators or stairs. Disney is king for vacation time, The quick access to gondolas… Read more
