My family and I have been going to Disney for many years and it is our first time staying at Saratoga Springs. We were upgraded from a studio to a one bedroom and it was renovated and beautiful! The walk to Disney springs is fantastic and the grounds and pools of the resort are awesome! We can’t wait to book our next trip back!

All I can say is Wow! Neither of us had ever stayed at Saratoga Springs and it was wonderful! Despite the restaurant/lounge not being opened everything was fantastic and MUCH MORE then I hoped for staying at a Disney Resort during a pandemic. Plenty of outdoor seating for dining available around their courtyard to enjoy breakfast. The paddock grill had delicious fish tacos! And the main pool bar serves up really great drinks! And let me just say our upgraded room was one pleasant surprise! I paid for a studio but we got a one bedroom suite! It was newly renovated, and absolutely gorgeous. Disney is also certainly taking every precaution possible. They are constantly cleaning hand rails and door knobs through out the hotel. All of their employees wear their masks properly. I really can't say enough about how satisfied we were with our weekend! The only thing I can suggest is to update or notify guests of hours/offerings of specific things. For example pool bar closed at , although their sign said 8. And online the Paddock grill's menu says they have a bar - but apparently only when the bartender is there. No biggie for us though. There was no crowd at check-in! This made us suspicious. We soon learned why. Although Disney claimed to be "Open for Visitors" their hotels and parks were open... but most restaurants and stores were closed and much of the hotel and park properties were under renovation (in preparation for the 50th anniversary in 2021). Here are a few pics from our renovated room. We had a short walk to Disney Springs, which was nice since parks closed early. Had several items to choose from in grocery area. Jean at check in was amazing, even upgraded our room which was nice. Food was good at Artist palette. Bus waits were not long!!! We def be back here!

We made a last minute switch from a Colorado trip, due to the wildfires. I was so disappointed to be heading for heat and humidity, when I wanted crisp mountain air and a break from mask wearing. However, my disappointment ended when we arrived at the resort. The cast members were so gracious and welcoming, they truly seemed happy to have us, and went out of their way to meet our needs. We had some issues with our unit, which was not renovated, but staff was responsive in timely fashion. We especially want to mention Eddy at the Paddock pool who brought us water at the bus stop, Cristian who gave us a ride to Disney Springs, and John who gave us an informative late night ride. The resort has nice amenities, and is very convenient to Disney Springs. The one bedroom unit in Paddock building 50 was on the small side. The fold out bed took up the whole living room. The beds were too firm, but we were provided with toppers on request. As others have stated, the unrenovated units are fairly worn, but this is temporary. I would give five stars for the experience, overall, especially the cast members. Four stars is only for unit size, uncomfortable beds. I hope to return, and see the renovated units. Read less
