Saratoga Springs is huge, getting ready for lots of walking, But all their resorts are huge. Busses to parks on time all four days. Early access at at parks was great. Since I'm a late sleeper, getting up at 5:30 or 6am to be at the parks for early access was "different", but worth it. So much walking for the entire week. Lost 8 pounds however. Disney dining reservations always full so we kept trying and found out many cancel so we got into Rainforest, Ragland Irish at Disney Springs and twice at Turf club at Saratoga. The best French onion soup on the planet and a 6 ounce filet was heaven. Great sandwiches at Artists palate deli too. I brought cans of beer and soda in my checked luggage. Beer was 8$ a glass or can and soda was 5$. Of course at the parks you buy their drinks but at the pool and condo I drank my own. Paddock pool nice, good food too. Cobb salad huge and good. I thanked over 30 workers at the resort and parks for working so hard. Most smiled in surprise. Nothing better than making someones day by telling them they are appreciated. WE are two middle aged adults who play like kids. We bought 4 day park hopper but should have not done hopper since we spend so much time at each park. We had no need to repeat a park. wasted money there. Fireworks at epcot is amazing. Just hard to explain. New place to view it. we used to go by France and UK bridge. Now the best is by the front with the Ball behind you. We were directly across the lake from the US pavilion, that is the BEST spot to see the show now. Plus it's close to the front exit. 25 minutes of amazing lights and fireworks every night. I'm not a stars war big fan but the new "star wars land' (yes they added a new land just for that) is unreal. The ride is 20 minutes long! Includes sitting, walking, live actors. No matter how long the line, see it. we did that with early entry at 7am so we went directly there and only waited 20 minutes because many ran to the line and I didn't want to spill my coffee, ha. So make the star wars land your first stop. I have so much more to share but this is enough. If you want to visit with me, I'dl love to share photos and ideas and how Genie + worked well for us (new fast pass). bob viking, 608-335-3009. portage wisconsin Read less

Saratoga is a great escape from the parks in Orlando. Several pools, trails, golf, tennis and the condos are huge and remodeled. The shuttles are easy to manage, and you can walk or take the ferry to Disney Springs.
