The hotel

Nestled in beautiful tropical gardens, Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel is a gorgeous adults-only boutique hotel, offering guests a secluded retreat from the world. Aptly named, it really is paradise here with a pristine white beach and exceptional views of the lagoon and the northern islands from the peninsula. Highly romantic, the resort even offers ‘love nest’ twin sun beds. Also recommended is a visit to Spa Cinq Mondes. Not only does it boast a pool, hammam and flower baths, you can treat yourself to an Indian Ayurvedic massage — sure to banish any lingering cares! At the Paradise Cove, water sports are very much the order of the day, from snorkelling to water-skiing. Come dusk, Stay Bar is the place to sip on tropical cocktails whilst admiring the sunset. There’s live and unplugged music here too but first enjoy dinner at a choice of restaurants. For local dishes, the Dining Room is ideal or experience Asian fusion cuisine at XO. For a real treat, book a table at The Cove — highly romantic, tables for two are set in small huts, right on the beach, beside a coconut grove.

Lovely boutique hotel in a quiet cove. Everything about the stay was excellent. The grounds are beautifully maintained , the staff are friendly and the dining is excellent. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a suite which was lovely. Way beyond any hotel experience we have had before.

The spa is amazing! I had the most fantastic massage & facial from Lora. She really put me at ease & was so lovely. She got rid of the knots in my shoulders which no one else has managed to do. I loved the facial she gave me & felt a million dollars as I floated out the door - thank you Lora ❤️

We are currently staying here and it's only our third day however we can't fault this hotel for it's beauty and impeccable service from all staff. They have gone above and beyond to accommodate my husbands dietary requirements. We have eaten at several restaurants so far including the Cove for my birthday and at each one the food has been fantastic. There is a good variety available for all and nothing is to much trouble. The rooms all over look the cove which is tranquil and lovely to wake to. The rooms are comfortable clean with all amenities you require during your stay. Room 712 has perfect view of the cove looking out to the ocean. The ambience of the whole hotel is perfect for couples of all ages and there is plenty of space meaning it never feels over crowded. We have booked the spa for our complimentary massage and have also booked another as the spa looks breathtaking and peaceful. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a fully relaxed holiday. Read less

Perfect for all couples not just honeymooners!!!! Those in love and celebrating each other. This was by far the most perfect holiday we have been on. We have travelled and always look for quality over quantity especially now the children have flown the nest and we are both still working and want that vacation to be perfect. Also I am always, at the end of 2 weeks ready to leave, however hubby had to drag me away with tears in my eyes. Upon arrival around 9:30pm exhausted from travelling for some 18 hours we were greeted by reception and taken to our room. The room, ground floor, was totally amazing with free standing bath a double huge shower, tea and coffee facilities and bottled water delivered daily. The mini bar stocked with soft drinks but be mindful the snacks here are not part of the all inclusive. Small shame. You need to know here that my children have bets on the fact that I will request a room change if I am not happy. I have done this lots and lots of times over the years. I was blown away!! The next day after breakfast we were given a little tour and met with our rep. We wanted to visit a local shop for milk and fruit juice, however soon realised that everything is readily available at resort. The biggest asset here is the coffee its QUALITY and on tap and the bar area is open from 8:00 am (not that we are alcoholics), we are early risers and often in the cove by 8:00 wanting a fruit juice with soda to sip on so we filled our bubba cups at this time and settled in for the day. Restaurants: XO - Wow this was our favourite and you can book in easily (nothing is too much trouble). We couldn’t manage a starter, 8 pieces of sushi each a main and a pudding so opted to have 8 pieces of sushi to share which was better for us. Massive shout out to Francesco here. I watched him fetching drinks up and down the stairs always smiling and with a spring in his step. An amazing young man. BTW you can order any of the drinks and once again nothing was too much trouble. I am vertically challenged and they even bought a cushion for me to sit on. Peninsula - Food menu amazing I am not going to spoil it for you and once again availability not an issue. They also serve lunch here. There is one other restaurant which you pay for - we chose not to do this but ventured out instead, however those we spoke to all really enjoyed their meals. All restaurants are waiter service including the main restaurant during the evening. It felt very special to us and almost like we were on a date night every single night. Point to note we had read that it was long trousers for men in the evening for dining and it would appear this is not mandatory. Everyone did look lovely with some men choosing to wear smart shorts and t-shirts so hubby went with the flow, however I like to dress up and it did feel like a date night every night as I said. Entertainment was perfect for us and with local singers, pianists and a couple of nights there was a DJ and some dancers. For us the Cove had this mix right and it was just lovely. Special shout to Dav and his expertise in Rum - DO THE RUM TASTING Another special shout out to Michael for his service around the pool and Cove. After a couple of days he was bringing me my elevenses bubbles, without the press of the parasol button which would alert him to attend. He is one special guy and was sorely missed on the 1 day each week he had off - we did not see a single server (they were hiding in their lounge) until someone pressed a button and even then on occasion they did not appear and we had to go to the bar, to be fair it wasn’t far, but we were on holiday right???? Tipping - its at your discretion - not at all expected and that’s clear as the service was second to none all through our holiday, from the first day until the last, we chose (I think its a British thing) to tip at the end of our stay. I have a couple of small niggles: (reception). Arrival: We arrived late and I did not want to go to the restaurant looking haggard, however we wanted a cocktail to sip on whilst we unpacked and settled in. It was suggested that we ask reception to offer a drink sent to our room. I asked reception to arrange this and she suggested we could order this when we got to the room. I asked her if she could order this for us so when we go there it would be waiting for us. We were completing paperwork at the time. She didn’t do this or ask us what we wanted, however, when we go to our room she explained the layout then proceeded to inform us that room service was going to cost us around £10 for each time we placed an order. I understand the charge and we were happy to pay one day when we just wanted a down day. Personally I think for late arrivals this could be waived and done from reception….. just a quirk. Reception, orientation : We had a brief tour of the facility the next day pointing out the main restaurant, the bar , XO restaurant, the spa, the cove and pointing to the peninsula. This was done rote and with little to no emotion. Obviously they do this all of the time, however my niggle is they should take people to the peninsula as this really is spectacular the views are amazing and the bar staff are welcoming and also can’t do enough for you. They could even start the tour/commentary there with a coffee/drink. There is a beautiful pool up top, with a small amount of seating, however during our stay was a little too windy for us, so we chose the Cove. It was a beautiful setting for sunset. Events: Most of the events are geared towards honeymooners and whilst I congratulate you, we have been married for 37 years, the mix of couples at the time we were here were around 60/40 to honeymooners, I would have appreciated some events marketed at those who chose to vacation here to celebrate each other or a special birthday and also have some fun…. Cocktail making and cooking classes would have been great for us too. It would appear that most couples we spoke to, vacationing here, were celebrating something. Up your game please and be inclusive to all !!! At the end of this 5*5* 5* all the way. I did not want to come home and would return in a heartbeat. Read less
