Visited here towards the end of March. On arrival, we were welcomed with a reception drink and friendly staff before being showed to our room. The Reception as well as grounds inside and out were immaculately maintained. Room: On entering our room we were struck by a strong, bordering on unpleasant smell that was from a spray or oils. After going into the toilet, we learned that this could be to mask the damp smell there. Overall the room was nice, had everything you would need but is in need of updating. For an all-inclusive resort, the mini-bar was severely lacking. Would make a huge amount of difference having something to snack on like crisps or biscuits. We did request more bottles of water be left in the room each day also. The following day we got one extra bottle and after that, we were back to getting just two small bottles a day. Meals; All meals were fantastic, plenty to choose from and you never got the feeling that the food from the Buffet was there too long. Staff in the A la Carte restaurant were on the slower side but the food and setting was great. It was inconvenient having to book this restaurant 24 hours before as you don’t know what’s going to be in the Buffet until the day of. Leisure facilities; There was a good choice of water sports on the beach. The gym and games room were also good but it was very disappointing that even though advertised as free on the website, the tennis facilities were not (use of the court and rackets were free but you had to pay for the balls?). Prices in the spa were beyond extortionate so didn’t use. The Bars: While there may have been 2 or 3 max staff that were very good and attentive, the majority were not. You are told to have a seat and they will be over to take your order but we found ourselves constantly waiting. When we did go to the bar (after been waiting too long), they were always numerous staff standing there chatting. Im not sure if it’s a directive from management to be slow on drinks service but it needs addressing. Further to that, the Gin Van only opened one night of the 7 and was closed the others due to ‘Weather’. Having said that, the people who took orders along the beach were very hard working, there just wasn’t enough of those either. One of the most disappointing aspects of the stay was signing for everything. For a fully all-inclusive resort, you could kind of accept signing for alcohol but even for two bottles of water is just ott. The slow service just made this worse as we found ourselves constantly waiting to sign for things when wanting to leave. Overall it was a goof experience but could be made so much better by small changes. Read less

This hotel was clean and the staff were courteous and attentive. Unfortunately there was no decent restaurant in the room. Here !!! You can save money: cheaptravel.ga Food quality is mainly at the level of junk food. It is an expensive hotel for its services.

We stayed at Tamassa while attending a family wedding. The resort was amazing and catered well for our 7 month old. The staff were very attentive and helpful. A special mention to Chef Mahesh and his team for the incredible food and to Harsha who was especially helpful at the main restaurant!
