Four Seasons Resort, Seychelles

Seychelles, Indian Ocean

The hotel

Comprising of tree-house villas, each with their own private infinity pool, perched on a jungled hillside, the Four Seasons Resort Seychelles offers a tantalising glimpse into paradise. The powder-sand beach, considered to be one of the finest on the island, is just a short stroll away, scented en-route by cinnamon trees and frangipani. As well as indulging in water sports, there’s a lovely swimming pool to relax by with poolside dining and refreshments readily available. The spa is a treat for all, located at the top of the hill, overlooking spectacular Petite Anse, with both adults and children welcome. Utilising entirely natural ingredients, signature rituals include chakra rebalancing and jet-lag recovery (adults only), as well as a Fancy Fingers Manicure or a Sleepy-time massage for youngsters, the latter a wise investment as everyone enjoys a peaceful night! As dusk falls, head to Zez Lounge for a pre-dinner cocktail or two. Afterwards, opt for pan-Asian cuisine at Zez Restaurant, set on the hillside and perfect for making the most of those sunsets, or Kannel, set right beside the ocean and serving sumptuous seafood, Creole and Asian cuisine.

We are very disappointed. There were lizards and cockroaches every day and every night in our room. Housekeepers can't handle them and say it's normal. We did not sleep a single night because the lizards were walking around on the table, glasses, coffee machine and we were scared because they could come in our bed. Also the food is average. All beaches in Seychelles are public and not private. We were told that the 4 seasons beach is worth going to and it turned out absolutely correct. We were taken in a golf car from the entrance to the beach. We were provided with proper changing rooms to change into our beach wear. After that we proceeded for the beach. It was a clear beach with not dirt or sea weed at all, because of which we could go a little more further from the hotel and into the Indian Ocean. The current was fairly strong and we had a great time surfing the waves. A superb beach. We were also provided with a golf car back to the main entrance. All of the above for free!!! Great Hotel and superb service, location and hospitality. Highly Recommend visiting their beach. Read less
