Four Seasons Resort, Seychelles

Seychelles, Indian Ocean

The hotel

Comprising of tree-house villas, each with their own private infinity pool, perched on a jungled hillside, the Four Seasons Resort Seychelles offers a tantalising glimpse into paradise. The powder-sand beach, considered to be one of the finest on the island, is just a short stroll away, scented en-route by cinnamon trees and frangipani. As well as indulging in water sports, there’s a lovely swimming pool to relax by with poolside dining and refreshments readily available. The spa is a treat for all, located at the top of the hill, overlooking spectacular Petite Anse, with both adults and children welcome. Utilising entirely natural ingredients, signature rituals include chakra rebalancing and jet-lag recovery (adults only), as well as a Fancy Fingers Manicure or a Sleepy-time massage for youngsters, the latter a wise investment as everyone enjoys a peaceful night! As dusk falls, head to Zez Lounge for a pre-dinner cocktail or two. Afterwards, opt for pan-Asian cuisine at Zez Restaurant, set on the hillside and perfect for making the most of those sunsets, or Kannel, set right beside the ocean and serving sumptuous seafood, Creole and Asian cuisine.

Amazing place - so glad I went!! Make sure you bring liquer in your suitcase. Prices are insane. It is worth paying to go to the grocery store as prices at the resort are INSANELY high. The Staff was AMAZING - everyone at the hotel is there to support.

We popped in to have lunch and beach afternoon at FS. The resort is massive and very very gorgeous. Beach is amongst the best ones we’ve been in Seychelles. Friendly staff, tasty food, relaxed atmosphere - what’s not to like. This was our first visit in Seychelles so FS is on our list for next time. M xxx

I was going to wait to checkout before posting my review but I couldn't wait. This hotel is simply splendid! It has the most wonderful view (literally). It's not cheap at all but was definitely worth every penny. Before coming we asked for a private room and when we arrived we were greeted at the airport (they knew our names and our looks) , where the hotel picked us up and drove us to the hotel (approx. 35 mins from the airport). When we got there we were greeted with iced tea and towel. The receptionist assured us that the room was located at the highest point, to ensure privacy. Because I wear a veil, Our housekeepers were all women (which we very much appreciated). The only downside to our whole visit was that the pool did not have a heater, which made it really hard for us to swim as it was a bit cold. The wifi was also very slow and finally, the restaurant options were little and lacked variety. Other than that, we pretty much Loved our visit and would definitely go again! Read less

We stayed at the Four Seasons, Mahe, Seychelles for 4 nights in August. It was towards the end of a long and difficult (though fun!) trip and so the rest was welcome. We didn't do much, honestly, just read, swim, eat, exercise - but it was wonderful. The hotel is about 35 minutes from the airport. We were greeted warmly and shown to our villa quickly. Since the resort is on a hill, golf carts drive you around everywhere (though you can walk and we did --- good exercise!). The villa is amazing. There is a living area, beautiful and comfortable bed, and the bathroom is larger than many New York City apartments! The deck is what makes this villa though. There was a lounge bed that was covered, two lounge chairs, a table and four chairs, outdoor shower, and incredible pool. We spent most of our time reading on the deck while periodically staring at the views. The gym is incredible and there was never anyone in there. There was so much equipment and it was in top shape. The treadmills overlook the ocean. What more could you want?!? The food was impeccable. Especially the breakfast, wow! It had everything an more that you would want. Lenny greeted us for breakfast each morning. He has a wonderful smile and makes you feel so welcome. Somehow he always remembered our names. He also noticed that my spouse is gluten-free and each morning asked the chef to prepare a special gluten-free meal (e.g. pancakes, crepes). What a nice touch! The beach and communal pool are spectacular. Plenty of lounge chairs and covers and lots of water activities too. If the Seychelles weren't so far away from Washington, DC, I'd be booking another stay at the Four Seasons for next year. I do hope we can return one day. It is a complete treat! Read less
