I would have given this resort 5 stars accept they required us to move rooms the last night of our stay. Also, the fire alarm went off early morning around 6:45. It ended up being a false alarm but the staff did not do a good job of letting people know that we could go back to our rooms. On a positive note, the casino was fun, the first room we… Read more

It ended up being a false alarm but the staff did not do a good job of letting people know that we could go back to our rooms. On a positive note, the casino was fun, the first room we stayed in was very nice and updated. It also had a beautiful view. The second room was a mini suite with a fabulous view but the room it's self was worn out. Because of Covid, there was not room service and limited restaurants and bars open at both Harvey's and the connection hotel/casino Harrah's. The location is wonderful and close to everything including a few steps away from Heavenly Ski Village. Read less

Really bad experience. First they put us on the 5th floor. Dogs barking everywhere. Moved us to the 7th floor. So many issues! Small room, no storage, no place to plug in my heating pad or laptop. Ceiling in the bathroom was coming down. We were booked for 4 days. Checked out after 1 night. The place is a dump and we were charged over $200! The… Read more

We have stayed at Harvey's once or twice a year for the past 20 years. If you book here stay away from the 14th floor on the Tahoe Tower where we stayed. Housekeeping did not bring us the extra towels we requested also no fridge, coffee maker or alarm clock. Not a high end hotel, not worth the over $300 for 2 weekend nights, however the bed was very comfortable. Read less

I stayed here a week and it felt like a month. If you have a family or are trying to spend a nice weekend with your date, this is NOT the place for you. Basically the entire hotel smells like weed. There is constant noise, not hot water in the morning, they don't provide basics to get thru the stay. I had go to the local CVS to get soap, shampoo… Read more

There is constant noise, not hot water in the morning, they don't provide basics to get thru the stay. I had go to the local CVS to get soap, shampoo and TP. They offer to move us but when I checked the other floor it was just as noisy and smelled of marijuana. This place is just plain nasty. Read less

We spent two nights at Harvey’s in a room that was newer and updated. The room was plenty spacious and had a nice partial view of the lake. When we went to our first room it reeked of marijuana. The front desk was great about promptly moving us to another room down the hall. The location of the hotel is great and was walkable to a lot of restaurants and shops. I would have rated this hotel higher because I really liked our room, but a few things knocked my rating down. First, the walls are paper thin. I could hear everything our neighbors said to each other...at 2am then again at 6am loud and clear. Second, the same neighbors decided the second night to smoke marijuana in the middle of the night which came into our room very strongly and was unpleasant to deal with. I don’t mind marijuana smoke if I am walking by someone or near someone, but don’t think I should have to smell it as if I’m with someone who is smoking it all night long. Third, housekeeping came knocking on our door at 9am to see if we had checked out yet. I don’t understand why hotels do this or permit their staff to do this. We have the room until 11am and shouldn’t be disturbed before then. If you don’t mind these issues this is a pretty good place to stay. If you are a light sleeper or don’t like marijuana smoke this probably isn’t the place for you. Read less
