We have stayed at Harvey’s several times over the years. We visit Tahoe 4 or 5 times a year. We stay at Harrah’s, Harvey’s or Hard Rock. We booked a room for two nights several months in advance for a concert in July, 2021. The room we were assigned was terrible! It was in the old section of Harvey’s and our “view” was the rooftop full of air conditioning units and satellite dishes. This room was over $300 bucks a night! I called the front desk upon checking in and tried to get another room but they said there was nothing else. If you go to Harvey’s DO NOT let them put you in the old section unless you like to look at AC units. The room was very dated and the entire section needs to be demolished and rebuilt! Read less

Being a Platinum, the room they gave us was very sparse! No desk, not enough outlets, no couch or comfy chair to sit in, room very old and dilapidated! No valet service and no room service due to COVID-19. Slots were very tight!

So my wife and I just stayed the last week in South Lake Tahoe. After we made our reservation at Harvey’s I had read some reviews and was cautious about our 7th floor room. Rooms with EVEN NUMBERS as last digit on our floor have a much better view. First room was on 6th floor and had a wall view. We went back to lobby and very polite gentlemen moved us to room 730. We can tell you, we were pleasantly surprised and very happy with our stay. Some rooms are being renovated, our Executive King had already been renovated, so no issues with the room. Currently no room service, just ask housekeeping for extra towels daily. Hallways had new carpeting, some room entry doors need fresh paint, restrooms in casino need updates as well. We both hit slot machines for a bit over 1k on our last night. Not big betters, both won on betting between $1.50-$2.50 per bet. Pool was sufficient but the loungers need replacement. It’s a work in progress, have patience, ask for the newly renovated area. Read less

We enjoyed our stay at Harvey’s. We had a newly-renovated spacious room on the 16th floor in the Tahoe wing with a great view. The beds were comfortable and the room had a very large tv, a table with chairs by the window, and a refrigerator. The bathroom was very large and had a separate area for the toilet. There was also a make-up area with… Read more

There was also a make-up area with magnifying mirror with a stool to sit on while putting on make-up. The shower was huge! We were very pleased with the room and the service we received. There were several restaurants in the hotel and the location was convenient to walking to Heavenly Village and the many restaurants and shops nearby. I was very pleased with the hotel and its great location! Read less

First the complimentary beverage coupons say good at any food and beverage location yet the American River Grill refused to take them stating they are only good at a bar. That is not what they say. Second our room had a posted checkout time of noon. We we went back to the room at 11:30 our keys did not work. Down to the desk for new keys where I was told that checkout is now 11 and the sign was wrong. Please honor what you print and post as not doing so gives us a very bad impression. Read less
