A lot of things were expected trying to celebrate anniversary in Tahoe during pandemic, but sometimes you have to still get away. Basically scored 2 stars because it was just rough. Hotel: We had a room at Harvey’s, newly remodeled. The light switch dimmer didn’t work, and the shower had no hot water. Honestly, instead of giving us another room or upgrade they sent maintenance, we had to leave the room, and then they came while we were in the room enjoying dinner. So we had them come back. We used the shower next door(family room). There was no refrigerator or coffee in the room. There is no room service and if you need extra towels they will bring them to you in bags. Check in and check out was easy. They have quick check in kiosk, helpful. The manager had to be called because the person checking me in wasn’t going to put a fridge in the room, but my mother needed it for insulin. It wasn’t a problem after that. Gaming: My husband and I usually enjoy it there, but there tables were so empty! It was annoying we would go for lunch and want to go back to the hotel and couldn’t play any tables because they didn’t open until 4pm, then told us go to Harrahs. So we went to HardRock which was nice! Anyways, back to Harvey’s and Harrahs, there are no separations(fiberglass) just reduced seats at the table(3 instead of 5 or 6). You cannot have drinks at the table. Water or alcohol. Nothing when you’re sitting, if you must smoke or what a drink you have to get 6-10ft from table. Food: Hell’s Kitchen looks nothing like the one in Vegas. That’s what Harvey’s has. That’s it that makes it worth it going there. And maybe the view closer to Lake Tahoe. But as for customer service, or entertainment, it was the worst experience we’ve had in Tahoe. Read less

Customer service is D- First to start the 3 day holiday: The room safe was not bolted down, fell on my foot, the hotel refused to bolt it down and I have documented proof. July 4th I’m trapped in the elevator between floors for almost an hour, security was very professional and tried to help, so to save myself I leaped to the 15th floor and almost broke my legs. 4th of July night, went to the 19th floor restaurant, they said all the window seats were reserved, we ate and an hour later no one sat at those window seats. The hotel tried to buy me off by offering a $5 credit for food. Read less

I like its proximity to harrah's and hardrock. There were two unsatisfying incident: 1. Upon check in, they asked if I wanted to opt-in for no housekeeping for a $10 food/drink waived on my room charge, and I opted in. A day after I checkout, I saw the bill in the email and they did not waive the $10 charge. I have to call them to make the adjustment. 2. I went over to the casino desk on my first night to print my card (have not gambled at any caesar properties before), and was told I am qualified for a welcome promo to earn $5 for every 50 tier points in the first 24 hours. I did that and went back to them after 24 hours to redeem the promo bonus. They told me that I have registered my account 3 years ago online, and I am not qualified for the promo even though I have not had the loyalty card nor played there before. It was false advertisement to me but they said that's the policy and they cannot do anything for me. If you plan on staying there, make sure you check your bill so they don't overcharge you on things that they promised to waive. Gamble somewhere else so you won't fall for the false advertisement promos! I have stayed and gambled at Hardrock and Montbleu, which are both 3 minutes walking distance from harvey's. I had a better experience with them than harveys Read less

You can do it up rights with high-end dining at 19 on the rooftop- with one of the best sunset views in the USA - or casual with beers and good burgers at Straw Hut - in winter spring summer or fall. Only one thing would be good to improve - time to update the carpets - in casino and hallways. They’re due. Read less
