Beautiful location with its own pool and private beach. Best thing about the beach is Action Water Sports affliated with the Hyatt. You can rent Wakeboard boats with or without a captain. I booked a balcony room which was priced at $500 a night and received one overlooking a driveway. We had just come from Edgewood Resort at South Lake Tahoe where we also booked a balcony room for $400 a night and had a nice view looking out at the pine trees. Edgewood is a beautiful new hotel located right on the lake with beautiful rooms, some of them overlooking Lake Tahoe, and with all the common areas overlooking the lake. Walk right down to the beach, or sit on the grass overlooking the beach. No need to walk across the road to a busy beach at The Hyatt. The Hyatt is an old resort and needs updating. Our room was nice, but looked like any other hotel room one would pay no more than $200 an night for, and an old bathroom with small bathtub/shower combination, where Edgewood had a gorgeous huge bathroom with giant walk in shower and separate spa bathtub. What a let down to see what we received for $100 a night more at the Hyatt than what we received at Edgewood. Absolutely no comparison with lake location, room, common area, pool, beach and restaurants! Read less

Beautiful resort! Excellent service. I was injured and the staff was extremely accommodating. They remembered who I was and checked in on me a lot. They have me bags of ice and took me all over the place in a golf cart so I wouldn’t have to walk to different things I had planned. It is pricey but if you can afford it, I would recommend it hands… Read more

Great beach and restaurants. Jr. Suite is quite nice but a lot of noise through the connecting room doors. It would be great to have a balcony or even windows that look directly onto the lake. These are angled views and even though we had a room at the lake end of the building, no window looking directly out at the lake...missed opportunity.

We have never been on this side of Tahoe and we were not disappointed. Beautiful location. Amazing service . Food and drink were great. Lots of activities. The pool was clean with lots of seating. Rooms were private with a great view all around. We will be back!
