Fine resort, private beach, multiple restaurants, on site amentities made this location a simple decision. North Lake Tahoe is an extremely peaceful area. Coffee on the beach each morning and evening fires with smores

Love the private beach but customer service is very poor ! Telephone doesn't work, no champagne as promised, no casino coupons offered upon check in. Location is great but wish customer service is better.

The beach had tons of staff on hand helping with requests of all sorts including placing umbrellas over the chairs. The beach is only open to hotel guests, so that was a nice perk. It's close to a couple great restaurants only across the street as well so that was also nice. The brunch on weekends is little pricey, but the food is pretty good (omelette station, donuts, chicken and waffles etc). The hotel itself is very comfortable and the champagne upon check-in is a nice touch. Read less

My trip was a golf outing with 100 plus people(TJ Invitational). My experience with Hyatt was very pleasant and I will return. I plan to make an additional trip with my wife and other couples and explore more of the area.

The best hotel we've stayed at Lake Tahoe. Valet parking was a breeze. Check-in a little slow. We stayed on a floor that allowed us access to the Regency Club. Very nice food in the Regency lounge but a bit disappointed it seems to now be only open on weekends. Wine, beer, drinks used to be included. Now there is a $5.00 charge for beer and wine and there are no cocktails available. Really?! Very nice gym. My husband loved the steam room, and he knows steam rooms. Says it is the best he has seen. He also had a massage and was impressed. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom. No real complaints. Can be a bit noisy. We had dogs and young children in rooms near ours. We are early risers, so the noise was not a problem. If we had wanted to sleep in later than 7:00AM , we would have been unhappy. Why is it people take there dog "babies" to a hotel? We have dogs and love them but don't think it appropriate to affect others' stay with our critters. Read less
