Tivoli Lodge

Vail, Colorado

The hotel

Combining modern architecture with the feel of a mountain lodge, the Tivoli is a firm favourite with skiers. Warm in atmosphere with great service from attentive staff, it also enjoys unobstructed views of the Vail’s Golden Peak ski area. Guest rooms are spacious and impeccably-appointed with the finest linens and large soaking tubs – much appreciated after a busy day on the mountain! There are also two hot tubs to stake your place in, both with mountain views, the perfect way to relax and unwind. Breakfast is a delight at the Tivoli, complete with an omelette station and house specialities such as French toast and buttermilk biscuits. Come sundown, there’s the Brown Hound Lounge with overstuffed chairs, leather sofas and towering views of the mountain. A wonderful place for a spot of après-ski, try a signature Indini cocktail, inspired by former mascot Indy, the chocolate Labrador for whom the name is lounged – yep, you guessed it, it has a chocolate theme!

First time staying at this hotel. Perfect location in the heart of Vail. Staff attentive. Warm and cozy environment. I would absolutely recommend this to others. Great off season rate. Upscale and small lodge “feel.”

Excellent hotel. Beautiful building, everything in good taste and high quality construction. The staff was friendly and helpful. Perfect quiet location, right next to the village for an easy 1-minute walk. We would love to stay there again. The only negative is the $38/day parking fee, but then again, public parking lots in Vail charge $35/day.

A wonderful hotel that I would highly recommend. It is located in a quiet part of Vail village, but with walking promiity to all the restaurants and the ski lifts. Super clean rooms with extra comfy sheets and linens with well supplied rooms. The staff is charming and willing to assist with any small details.

Very nice hotel within Vail Village. Location is nice and relatively quiet, within short of Ford Garden. We had a Mountain View room which was very clean and the king size bed was extremely comfortable. Elevator was somewhat slow at times. We had a Mountain View room which was very clean and the king size bed was extremely comfortable. Elevator was somewhat slow at times. Location was very close to restaurants where you could either eat in or take out food for breakfast. You could get breakfast in the hotel but had to pick your order up in the hotel lobby. Would definitely stay here again. Really liked Vail, nice vacation spot. Read less

Nicely decorated hotel. Too bad it is currently understaffed. The workers did there best to keep us guests happy, and often went out of their way to help us out. I liked out room - it was on the first floor and we had access to the outdoors. Luckily the hot tub was one a few steps down. I think this place would benefit from a swimming pool.… Read more
