Tivoli Lodge

Vail, Colorado

The hotel

Combining modern architecture with the feel of a mountain lodge, the Tivoli is a firm favourite with skiers. Warm in atmosphere with great service from attentive staff, it also enjoys unobstructed views of the Vail’s Golden Peak ski area. Guest rooms are spacious and impeccably-appointed with the finest linens and large soaking tubs – much appreciated after a busy day on the mountain! There are also two hot tubs to stake your place in, both with mountain views, the perfect way to relax and unwind. Breakfast is a delight at the Tivoli, complete with an omelette station and house specialities such as French toast and buttermilk biscuits. Come sundown, there’s the Brown Hound Lounge with overstuffed chairs, leather sofas and towering views of the mountain. A wonderful place for a spot of après-ski, try a signature Indini cocktail, inspired by former mascot Indy, the chocolate Labrador for whom the name is lounged – yep, you guessed it, it has a chocolate theme!

The Tivoli Lodge was a great place to stay while at Vail. It is close to the Golden Peak chair (lift 6), the gondola (lift 1) and the shops in Vail Village. The staff was wonderful and I would definitely recommend this lodge to my friends.

The hotel is such a great place to stay, as it's so close to the gondola but far enough away that it's quiet. The hotel staff is super friendly. he rooms are clean and quite large. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely friendly hotel with separate entrance for skis and boots. Beware of the 40 resort feed and 45$ valet fee per day. Being able to walk into the town of Vail with no cars was great. Walking to the ticket entrance to Vail then get right onto the Gondola could not have been easier.
