Boston Park Plaza

Boston, USA

The hotel

As synonymous with Boston as the eponymous tea party and cream pie, Boston Park Plaza has been a landmark on the city’s hotel circuit since it opened 90 years ago. Reinterpreted for the 21st century traveller with a $100 million mega-makeover, it now adds contemporary décor and mod-cons to its timeless elegance. And you’re in good company, with all bar two US Presidents staying here since it opened. It’s easy to see why, with a top-drawer location near Boston Common. Of course, they wouldn’t all have experienced today’s attractions, which include a mammoth 20,000 SF Health Club, the nightly cocktail hour (well 5 hours) in the Library, and the New England inspired dining of its Off the Common restaurant, with Boston’s signature lobster rolls a menu favourite.

With the city's limited options for going out, the Boston Park Plaza Hotel was the perfect Venue. Their suites are immaculate an are accompanied by outstanding staff service. Front desk associates Shane, Lisa, Yesly, Alison, and, Bartender Tommy make every guest fell like a King.

We were allowed to check in early (1130 am) and were surprised with an amazing dessert and bottle of champagne from room service, we’d personally like to thank Kathaleen Callahan for that. The comfort of the park plaza during a difficult time is better than we could have hoped for, we were greeted and treated with nothing but the most positive attitudes and smiles whether it be at the front desk, or bar, valet, even our room service delivery was pleasant and comforting. We always enjoy our time at the park plaza, and look forward to the next time we can enjoy all it has to offer. Read less

Wonderful staff! Wonderful stay! Cannot wait to go back! Best location, right in the middle of downtown Boston! Whatever direction we go in, it's a new adventure! We leave our kids at home and have a great time. It's always a great memory for us! We cannot wait to go back!

The room was small but clean. It had a refrigerator but unfortunately, no microwave. Bathroom tiny and no fan. The hotel was in a great location and steps from a T stop. There was a convention at the hotel which made it difficult to get a drink from the bar because it was incredibly crowded and my teenage daughter was very uncomfortable with those attending the convention. It was unfortunate that the fitness center would not allow my 16-year-old to attend an exercise class with me. We have stayed at this property before but will unhappy with this experience and probably choose to stay somewhere else next time we are in Boston. Read less
