Boston Park Plaza

Boston, USA

The hotel

As synonymous with Boston as the eponymous tea party and cream pie, Boston Park Plaza has been a landmark on the city’s hotel circuit since it opened 90 years ago. Reinterpreted for the 21st century traveller with a $100 million mega-makeover, it now adds contemporary décor and mod-cons to its timeless elegance. And you’re in good company, with all bar two US Presidents staying here since it opened. It’s easy to see why, with a top-drawer location near Boston Common. Of course, they wouldn’t all have experienced today’s attractions, which include a mammoth 20,000 SF Health Club, the nightly cocktail hour (well 5 hours) in the Library, and the New England inspired dining of its Off the Common restaurant, with Boston’s signature lobster rolls a menu favourite.

By far one of the best hotels and services! This was a wonderful weekend in Boston to celebrate my sisters birthday. I can’t believe how great the customer service was from front desk to engineering. They were all so accommodating to us! Great job and we will be back!

We had a great time, checked in later in the day and had no problems at all, was able to grab a drink at the bar downstairs, which was beautiful! They even provide free water bottles at the front desk. My only problem was lack of cost effective parking. We didnt realize the only options were a $50~ valet parking at the hotel, or $40 overnight… Read more

We didnt realize the only options were a $50~ valet parking at the hotel, or $40 overnight parking at a nearby garage, there are cheaper parking areas if you don't mind parking outside. Read less

I was inspired to write this review due to the outstanding customer service by Marco Minozzi. He made the difference in the stay by being friendly and accommodating. This is the type of service you hope for when spending money to stay at a hotel.

This is a stay for work, a few days and I have been before. The lobby area is great, very warm and conducive to relaxation and a good time. The breakfast is plenty, as you'd expect - hot, cold, fruit, yogurt, cooked breakfast... Th gym is wonderful too. the issue is the rooms - I know I am not paying 150$ a night but the single room is very tight.… Read more
