Overall, a pleasant experience. A bit of difficulty finding the easiest elevator after finishing the first day as an exhibitor. I had to carry a number of items through the main lobby to rear elevator and it was unnecessary. There was an elevator on the same floor I entered in at from the convention center. Also, the parking was a bit difficult to find from the street when first arriving. Some advance notice from the hotel on parking and a sign or two for conventioneers would have been very helpful. This is my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Long Beach. Usually I'm staying for the Long Beach Marathon, which I've run more than ten times over the years. You won't find a better hotel if you're planning on running that race: it is literally across the street from the marathon start line, and also across the street from the Convention Center where marathoners and half-marathoners pick up their race numbers. The Hyatt Regency Long Beach is big, classy, clean and professionally run. For families, it has a nice pool and hot tub which my wife and kids very much enjoyed. Across the street is Long Beach's beautiful waterfront, numerous restaurants, and the Long Beach Aquarium. It is all eminently walkable. Distance runners will enjoy the long run down the beach boardwalk, which you can take all the way to the tony neighborhood of Belmont Shores. As a Hyatt Globalist, I was treated very well. Upon my check-in, the front desk staff graciously gifted me a bottle of wine when I inquired if there were any wine stores open at the late hour. This was unexpected and most appreciated. Though the lounge is closed, as is the case with most Hyatts, they provided an outstanding and delicious breakfast benefit for Globalists (I suggest the bagel and lox). World of Hyatt members note: the Long Beach Hyatt Regency is bookable with a Category 1-4 certificate and this is an excellent use for it given the quality and location of the property, the outstanding breakfast, and the free parking available to Globalists on awards stays. I look forward to next year's Long Beach Marathon and another great stay at the Long Beach Hyatt Regency. Read less

The hotel was very nice. Connected to the convention center. There weren't any convenience stores within walking distance though, so getting supplies was difficult. Rooms were clean and well furnished.
